Hello! We will be traveling to Florida to Disney and universal. My son will be 34 months 2 months shy of 3 years old and wanting to know if any tips or MUST haves when traveling with a toddler. We will be flying but the plane ride is only 2.5 hours. I know to bring snacks and a some stuff to distract him.
I just want to make sure I’m prepared! What kind of strollers do you recommend to bring? A wagon stroller, regular one, travel size? What else should I bring on the trip and any great ideas?
Or something we just have to do with him at Disney that is worth it. This is his first time going to Disney and universal.

Hey girl I live in FL, if your going to Disney Do not bring a stroller wagon they won’t let u in the park w it u have to leave it in the front leaving you no choice but to buy the little single one. At Walmart they are $20 and Disney sells them for $45 so I suggest u bring your regular stroller to carry baby stuff and your baby.
I went in March and I had to leave almost everything in the stroller wagon. And got a little foldable one they sell there.
I took my 3 yr old at the time she was still 2 and she wanted to walk most of the time. I suggested u get rain panchos bc it’s October but we always get rain unexpectedly. My daughter went to Holloween H night at universal this last weekend and they got rained on. Once your there you have to make the best out of it. Sometimes the lines are to long and kids don’t understand the waiting in line or ask to go on rides again after the short rides so I would bring fidgets just to distract baby in the waiting lines.

Universal is awesome. I feel like it’s less stressful they have baby swap and express pass to skip wait time. I went to all 3 parks late Aug and it was fun I got express for all 3. We did get rain but it’s was less stressful epic has only had 2 ride for my 3 yr old she didn’t meet the height requirement. Universal and island was more ideal for her height.
Best of luck and hope u guys enjoy to the max
