Baby girl has fallen behind in her grown. She went from 51% to 16%. The doctor put her on anti acid medication for two weeks to see if that will help with her throwing up. It’s gotten better, but I need her plump up. Im breastfeeding and changed my diet to low-carb/high protein in September. I lost 10lb. Do you think thats the reason why? I take my vitamins regularly.

My baby went from the 77th% to the 16th% and was put on Pepcid due to her losing weight instead of gaining. We are EBF as well and so it’s been a challenge to know if it’s the milk or just her spitting up. Shes now slowly gaining weight but as with you, it’s still a slow gain. You’re not in this alone! I did add in an omega 3 supplement to help bump up the healthy fats in my milk too, not sure if it’s helping but my hindmilk is a lot more than before!

Remember it also depends on genetics and they are growing fast and stretching and hit waves.
My first was up and down, i also ebf
I also looked up other "normal growth charts" in europe and he was actually pretty high on the chart. Americas "normal" has wieght pretty high. I didnt stress about it as long as he is healthy and hitting milestones. I just make sure i eat enough and drink enough as well as him eating for at least 5-10 mins at a time (i have a fast let down)

Like Kenzie said genetics play a big role. https://www.babycareadvice.com/blogs/growth/is-your-baby-experiencing-catch-down-growth-or-poor-growth?srsltid=AfmBOooZXWFoKoVy6LmD1YQ0MX2l94zIKPAbLw4hkYWkCDF9pWvDCSVF

You might need to do a calorie intake for the baby, my babies was a 28 calorie formula mix. They also do it for breast feeding. Also ask to see a dietitian for your baby 💙
