I just got this car seat. My baby is 11 months old . In the instructions it says to forward face from 9 months ! Is this correct or am I wrong to think your meant to rear face them till a lot older ?

Legally you should rear face until 15 months I believe, though it’s recommended for much longer x

As other comment says in UK legally has to be rear facing for at least first 15 months and then u can turn them round however it is recommended for better safety to keep rear facing up to 7 years old but at least until they are 4 years old. The survival rate between rear facing and front facing is astronomical in the sense that rear facing ur baby is so much more likely to survive and have less injuries then forward facing. So for me personally my baby will be rear facing for most of his childhood x

I think the legal guidelines are 15 months and a certain weight but obviously it is recommended to keep your LO rear facing for as long as possible. I hate to be that person but puggle seats aren’t very good as they are minimally tested and often don’t provide a good fit for babies

I would honestly return this if you’re able to. These seats are minimally tested and mass produced, Puggle is a well known crap car seat brand same as Ickle Bubba, Cossatto and MyBabiiee.
Forward facing shouldn’t be done until ideally age 4-5 when a childs bones begin to fuse properly. The dangers of crashing with them forward facing risk internal decapitation and much more serious injuries than when rear facing.
Good extended rear facing brands are Axkid, BeSafe, Avionaut. I have an Axkid and absolutely love it.

Thank you guys .
