Hi everyone just wanted to see whether or not our expectations are too high but our 3 year old needs prompting a lot of the time to use manners, like saying please or thank you. I’m a little more relaxed about it because in my culture, we don’t really have a word for “please”. So if we wanted something we just ask directly. But my husband is fairly adamant on making sure our son is using his manners every single time. Are your kids all using their manners fairly well or are you also needing to prompt them? Or is it something you’re not even thinking about or prioritising?

My boy is pretty good with his manners. I didnt teach him a whole lot, he learnt alot from kids YouTube (yes i know they shouldn't use technology) but he is pretty on top of it now. Says thanks you, you're welcome and most of the time says please xx
