Planning for my sonās birthday party this weekend and I donāt want to do the standard party bag as itās a big cost for stuff that the kids usually donāt really care about, and feels wasteful (no judgement if you like doing them - itās just not for me!)
Iād like to get something though, and wondered if anyone had suggestions for something small that they could take away that theyād actually like?
Last year I gave little dairy free chocolate lollies which I could do again, or bags of sweets, but open to different/ non food suggestions šš¼
(Impossible to find a pic of him not doing a dinosaur roar atm š

Sorry for jumping in..I want some ideas too..doing on saturday for my girlāŗļø

I still do party bags but I put useful things in them like for example it was my daughters birthday last weekend and in the party bag was a reading fairytale book, a T-shirt from Primark, a notebook and pen and stickers(which all kids love!) and just some sweets. I got a lot of good compliments from the parents of the children on Monday saying that they were better than the normal stuff that everyone puts in that doesnāt get used! X

My daughterās bday was last week and we did party bags (no plastic tat), some little crafty things like a wooden shape to colour in and hang up but the biggest hit was the bathbomb I put in. I bought about 30 off amazon and some little squares of material and wrapped them with a little ribbon. Went down really well!

We do books and bubbles. Iāve got some temp tattoos this year too because this age they seem ovsessed. We get the 10 for Ā£10 books(apparently theyāre 12 for Ā£10 atm) from the works
