Hurts during sex

Can I ask if you had vbac or c section? I have sometimes pain too, and it’s been a long time but it’s random and I have fibroids, also had emergency c section so it’s wild 😭. Either way , it does happen!

Are you breastfeeding? If so due to hormones the walls can be a bit dry which can feel like pain .

i haven’t given birth yet but have experienced this lots of pain while pregnant! i’d say water based lube is your best friend making sure your body is fully relaxed because your walls are very sensitive and not feeling relaxed with make everything feel like sandpaper and uncomfortable. different positions will also help! this might be tmi but if you finish before you start having intercourse it can make your body alot more relaxed and produce natural lube! hope this helps and you can figure out a solution!

I had a c section but I had this and I found the hormones do make things quite dry. Definitely try some lube if you are comfortable with that.

It took me a while (maybe 1 year) to feel it more normal to have sex. It was painful at the beginning and also just so many weird and unpleasant sensations. It eased up over time. Also we use lots of lub still after 3 years. After our first baby sex life never been the same for us. At first because it was fiscally weird for me and also because we are both so tired.

I’m having the same issue and so relieved to hear it’s not just me. 2nd degree tear and breast feeding too. 5months/6 oct 1st and still in pain. My physical therapist said I need to stretch/massage the scar tissue but also recommended I go back and we use dilators if it doesn’t resolve on its own. I didn’t even try having sex until 4 months pp, so painful at the start and need lube. Now it’s still painful but it goes away after the beginning but I’ll be sore for a few days. Taking our time helps a little bit, or starting with fingers but it’s hard not to rush when the baby is sleeping and you never know how much time you have. It’s so frustrating feeling like my body still isn’t mine.
