Best nappies for night time

I am losing the will here! I use Tescos nappies and have never had problems with them, however every morning this week I’ve woken up to a soggy baby because his nappy has leaked, it seems like overnight he’s doing big wees (or what seems like big wees) and the nappy just can’t handle it! He likes to sleep on his side too. He’s 1 next weekend. What is everyone else using overnight that can handle overnight! Recommendations please 🙏

We use Tesco pull ups in the day but last week started using the Tesco nappies with the tabs in 6+ as they’re ultra absorbent. We were having leaks every night too. We’ve had no issues since.

If the nappy leaks it is time to size up x

We had a lot of leaks. I’ve moved up to size 5 and use pull ups. I’ve tried pampers, asda and Aldi all work great

We don't ever have leaks, we use aldi mamia nappies and pull ups or pampers if there's an offer on!
Have you tried sizing up? We're on size 6+ aldi or size 6 pampers

Try sizing up or use rascals they are so good

We used cloth day and night he never got any leaks but I used 3 inserts at night 4 layers each so he had 12 layers of absorbency plus the real elastics on the covers which kept everything in he never woke up w wet pjs ever. Usually in disposables if they leak you size up. In cloth we just add another insert.

In the same boat. I can recommend 99% not always Rascals pull ups, Pampers pull ups normal not Premium. With Premium we had leakege every night surprisingly. Also what helped for us is not to put bodysuits under at night time. I think maybe this was causing nappy leaking. I just make sure he has sleepsuit, 2,5 tog sleeping bag.

Pampers premium protection or equivalent. Lasts him all night and no leaks plus with only using one a night the pack lasts.

We use Sainsbury’s or Tesco in the day and found he’d get a wet line on his tummy so we also sized up. He’s in 6+ nappies but 7 in the pampers now. You could try just sizing up first in the tesco ones.

We’ve started using the kit and kin nappies at night, they are quite expensive compared to other brands but with only using one per day I don’t mind too much as we’ve had no leaks! We have also sized up.
They do also say that leaking overnight can be an indication of them getting cold in the early hours when the temp drops, so might be worth double checking with it starting to get colder ☺️

Best nappies I have ever used are little angels from Asda! I tried pampers and they are horrific compared to the Asda ones ! X

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
