Had an unsuccessful ECV yesterday and I feel so shattered now, I’m 38 weeks and hoping he turns before the c-section due date. It’s so hard knowing I may not have a natural birth this time around.

There’s a chance going into labor can turn baby! My baby was breech and I was given the option to wait until labor to see if contractions would turn her. If not I would get a c section

Sorry to hear this. I have an ECV booked for tomorrow when I’ll be 37 weeks. If it is unsuccessful I will be aiming for a breech vaginal birth. C section isn’t the only other option!

If you do have to have a c-section, it’s still an amazing experience! I had no choice but to have one due to excess fluid and baby being breech, I felt disappointed that I didn’t get to go labour but wow it was such an amazing experience! So chilled and magical! & recovery was absolutely fine. I was up walking within 6hrs afterwards! So it may not be what you want but don’t let it put you off! :) xx

Can anyone please help me advise what to buy for my hospital bag when it comes to maternity pads/knickers? I am very stuck! Not sure obviously whether this will end in vaginal birth or c section, but any recommendations would be very handy!

I had my first scan and baby is looking very healthy so far! (Measuring around 9 weeks) I do have some health problems and considered high risk so it was a big relief to know that so far everything is going okay

Hey, has anyone got pictures of their rooms from LGI labour ward?
I'm making my birthing plan and wondering if I'll sound silly when giving my preferences for environment. For example, I've asked for a dim room with sensory lights if possible. But if its your typical white basic room I won't bother coming across as a primadonna 😅
