Anyone else's April baby not wanting to wean yet?
I have an end of April baby and he just seems happy with milk still, he will play with food, but there's no way he's letting it go in his mouth 😂

Have you tried spoon feeding my little girl will play with food but if I spoon feed she’ll eat it she was born the beginning of April

I have an end of April baby too and we are struggling. She isn’t a massive milk fan anyway so thought she’d love her food. She just would rather play with it. I offer food for her to hold and I also try and feed her. She’ll open her mouth for everything but mostly will spit it back out but sometimes will swallow it x

I’m really struggling too. Finding it hard because my first baby took to it so well so I’m not used to a baby who doesn’t.
At first I thought it was because he has been unwell but he has had back to back illnesses and so basically for a month has been refusing food. I try every meal just in case this one is the one he actually eats something but it never happens. He throws the food or spoon and then get frustrated when I bring it back or get more. He screams and tries to lift himself out the chair. It’s honestly starting to stress me out a bit because he had a reaction to dairy so when he starts nursery it’s not like I can rely on formula top ups. 😖😖

honestly just keep persevering! Find the thing your boy likes. We are finally making progress with weaning after persevering and taking away all of the pressure. My girl will now eat porridge for breakfast everyday - albeit the same one but that’s something! And we always offer her some dinner which she has been trying more and more of each time. So we’re making progress. I’ve got everything crossed you will too🤞🤞xx
