Leap 10 is the last Wonder Week and it’s a big one. Our babies (17–18 months) are suddenly trying to understand systems — emotions, routines, rules, and how the world fits together.
That means: • BIG feelings
• Mega tantrums
• Clinginess
• Sleep disruptions
• Testing boundaries
• New independence
• And way more pretend play + problem solving
They’re not being “bad.” Their brains are literally rewiring.
How to help them through it:
• Stay calm during meltdowns: “You’re safe. I’m here.”
• Give simple choices to reduce power struggles
• Keep routines predictable
• Offer independence (helping with laundry, wiping table, putting toys away)
• Narrate emotions: “You’re frustrated because ____.”
• Encourage pretend play (feeding doll, cooking, cleaning)
It’s a lot, but it’s also the leap that transforms them from baby → full toddler.
We’ve got this, mamas. 🤍✨

Ok this sounds exactly like what we’re going through right lol. Testing boundaries and pushing limits! Plus “up up up!” all the time. But I know it’s all normal - just excited to hit my bed at the end of the day lol
