My two year old just turned two and she used to be a very good sleeper. Recently she started taking off her sleeping bag and getting out of her bed. We switched her to a pillow and blanket, but now she wakes up every day around 3 or 4 in the morning and wants to come into our room.
Whenever I put her back in her room she cries a lot. We have a night light in there but it seems like she is scared to stay in her room now.
She has a comforter, but I am starting to lose hope. I am 32 weeks pregnant and I am worried that she no longer wants to sleep in her own room.

She may be too hot or too cold. We noticed our little guy woke up around the same time every morning 01:00 for a few weeks. I started monitoring the temperature in his room and varied his pyjamas weights. After an about a week and a half, I had enough data to understand his preferences.
It turned out he preferred a cooler room. He now mostly sleeps through the night. The temperature changes so much from the time he goes to bed vs when he wakes.

Is she still napping?

I was just about to say that she might be cold but saw someone else said that. When we transitioned my son from sleeping bag to duvet, he'd wake up at about 3 every night because he'd pulled the duvet off and was cold. He's used it now but also we have a space heater in his room so even if it does come off, he's warm enough.
