My almost 6 month old will be on December 9th and he is sleeping so bad tonight and it’s driving me insane. I want my sleep back to be able to keep momin and have some sanity he eats 3 meals a day and has a bottle b4 bed. Idk what I’m doing wrong this is the only night he has slept only 3 hrs at a time other nights it’s 4hr,5hrs couple times he slept for 9 hrs but he fell asleep at 830 don’t wake up till 4ish and Iv tried moving his sleep schedule just a tab bit later to try and short his sleeping times to sleep thru the night but nothing I do works
He was asleep then woke up at 4:48 to eat early he has a bottle every 5 hrs and has breakfast lunch and dinner and I try to give him solids ever 2 1/2 hrs

I don’t have any advice but I’m in the same boat

When I was reading about when to eat solids, it said to do that 30 mins after a bottle/breastfeeding. Otherwise I'm no help and my daughter sleeps 5-8 hours usually before waking up.

It could be they are struggling with tummy issues cos 3 meals a day is what you'd expect them to be on closer to one. Solids every 2.5 hours is what you would expect when over one. Even my 3yo doesn't eat that often most days.
I'm UK based where we don't even give food until 6 months then increase it slowly over a few months.
Id look at the timings for waking, naps and bedtime to see if any tweaks need making. This age is a good time to introduce a clock based schedule.

What app is this I will need it and sometimes babies fight sleep

My almost 6 month old eats 5 times a day, at night if she fusses I give her a binkie and she goes back to bed. Idk if Im doing this right but I get more sleep. I found it helps to try and keep my calm, babies smell fear lol good luck with your little one!

Probably not what you want to hear, but sometimes this just happens. Maybe because of a leap/development, maybe because of a growth spurt, teething, you just don’t know and it’s not always something you can control.
For my sanity, I’ve found that diverting my energy to making it more bearable as opposed to changing it is helpful.

So your Bub is going through a growth spurt it happens at 6 months old and 9months old will last about two weeks to a month

My first slept max 3 hours at a time until 18 months. Now she’s wakes up like once and is in our bed after that and won’t usually wake up again (but sometimes still every 3 hours with nightmares. She’s slept through the night maybe 15 times and she turned 2 in October. My second is 5 months and she wakes up every 2 ish hours. She used to sleep better but at 3.5 months it all changed. Some kids just aren’t good sleepers. Your body will get used to it 😅
Take naps when you can
