I would like to know how much (if at all) your partners help or help to discuss/prepare food for baby.
I’m doing baby lead weaning and I do enjoy it. But it does come with its issues… Planning, buying, cooking…FEEDING…
Seems every time I try to discuss it… He doesn’t seem very interested. He’s happy to feed baby but doesn’t seem so involved.
How’s it like for you?

My partner is very involved when its about our little one.
I do the cooking and preparing of the food (meal prep, freezing) and I set up a meal plan for our little boy. My partner and I, both get his food out of the freezer and set it up for the next day (mostly me, though). He is feeding our boy almost every day. (I feed him breakfast, during the week the sitter feeds him lunch and my partner feeds him dinner and on the weekend the feeds are shared between both of us). We also share feeding the bottle and putting him to sleep as well as nappy changes, bathing baby, etc.

I spoke to my partner recently about this as felt the load of thinking of what to feed baby was a lot! He now does come up with some ideas, but generally it’s me that preps it and gives to baby unless we do something that’s spoon fed and we alternate. It would be nice if my partner could prep his food more but for some reason it falls to me as I say I need to get up to prep dinner and he says he’ll sit with baby in living room to play, he will never offer!! Don’t get me wrong if I was out he’d manage it, but he’d probably ask me what to feed him and how to make it as easy as possible 🙄
