My baby Buddha pump was not efficient like it used to be. Since I booked a lactation consulting through them and the consultant watched the pump and asked me whether I wash and sterilize the pump each time i used it. Which was an YES. I used to wash all the parts and sterilize after each use. Hence the silicone diaphragm is not in good shape. What she recommended me was to pump and dump the pump in fridge with all the parts intact and use it the whole day without washing and just wash it once a day and let it air dry. Also just to sterilize once a week. I’m not used to this process , do you mommas agree with this ? I’m compelled to do so now.
I need help please !

I rinse off my parts in the sink and then several times a day when the bin is full I put hot soapy water in it to scrub them up myself
