So my son has become rather fussy with food and just will not try certain things. I did a roast dinner tonight and all he had was a sausage and some Yorkshire pudding. He asked for more of both but I said no, if he’s hungry he can eat the other things on his plate! (Potatoes and some peas) but he didn’t, he then asked for a yoghurt. Which he had. At bedtime he was telling me how he was hungry, to which I said he needs to be eating more of his tea then and it’s too late to eat now….but now he’s asleep I feel bad 😂🥴

My two are like this endlessly and I am constantly reminding them to eat (they are 3 and 4) quite often they will not finish a meal and then ask for snack after snack and then complain at bedtime they are hungry. I always say no and never give them anything because they have had time to eat but haven’t, but when they go to bed I’m wondering if they’ve had enough of what they should have each day but I also think if they were actually hungry then they would eat what’s on their plate as it’s always stuff they like.
Kids are hard 🤷♀️ haha x
