My baby is 17 weeks and fights sleep so much! The nights aren’t so bad yet but the day naps are so short and i have to soothe him fo about 40 mins for him to actually sleep! We are following wake windows. Any ideas how to get him to sleep longer in the day?
Also, when is everyone’s last feed before bedtime? I find if I feed him right before bed he’s then awake for longer if I feed him at 6/7 he naps and wakes up 30 mins later 🤦🏻♀️

My daughter is 17 weeks old also and is fighting daytime naps like crazy. This evening was the worst yet, she was away from 3:20pm to 7:15!! I usually put her to bed at 8 but brought it forward today because she would not nap whatsoever no matter what I tried. It’s so hard as I’m solo parenting for majority of the day with my husband working shifts. At the moment she won’t nap independently for more than 30 mins and even on me today she didn’t nap for longer than 30 mins. I’m praying she has a decent night tonight but I think because she been to bed earlier she’ll likely wake up for a feed in the night which she doesn’t usually.

It’s so difficult isn’t it? I read that’s it’s all about linking sleep cycles but how do you get them to do that? I’ve just put mine to bed but guaranteed he’ll wake in 30 mins and be up until midnight!
