Yes it is another name for girls bits but that’s not what I thought of when I heard Minnie. I think it’s a beautiful name💕 Bonnie always reminds me of the cute little girl from Toy Story as well😊

I’d say yes only because my mother in law used to have a cat called Minnie and she would make jokes that she was going home to play with her Minnie 😂 that’s the first time I learnt the connotations but now it’s stuck with me haha

Always loved Bonnie 😍 wanted it for my daughter.Never even thought of Bonnie blue until you said, depends how long will she be relevant. If she was a teenager right now it would be an issue. Minnie's so cute but also feel more of a dog's name.

Our daughter is Bonnie and I've never had anything but positive feedback on it! We had the same debate about Bonnie Blue but decided there's going to be negative connections with almost every name and she won't be relevant by the time baby girl is old enough for it to be a problem..

I love Minnie! I am from England and wouldn’t associate it with bits but I do have a pal that refer to it as that to their daughters. I feel like Minnie Mouse is probably more well known though. Bonnie blue has ruined Bonnie for me though sadly!

I love the name Minnie, would never think girl parts if anything I would think Minnie Mouse. I think if you love it people will very quickly move on from it. I wanted to use the name Max for a boy but our surname is Johnson and someone said that his name would “mean” big penis because Johnson is slang for penis in America apparently. But I honestly don’t think 99% of the population would have jumped to that conclusion and I feel the same for Minnie.

My question for the people who call their lady parts Minnie do you not like Minnie Mouse? Does your child ever think Minnie Mouse has a girl parts name? Or is that just her name and no one questions it?

Also please stop calling it Minnie. Use proper terminology as a teacher who does safeguarding courses regularly it’s really important your child knows the proper terminology for their private parts.

No lol if they do then that’s for them to rectify within themselves lol. Seems regional though bc I’ve never heard anyone at all refer to their woman parts as that in the south of the US or Florida.

I like both names. No association to private parts for me. Before Bonnie Blue was a porn star, she was a character in Gone With the Wind, and I think most people don't know about or care about the porn star, and the name Bonnie doesn't remind them of either one.

Minnie is such a cute name but it’s what I grew up calling my vagina and my daughter uses “ Minnie” for her vagina as well now. X
