7 month sleep regression or????

So my 7 month old goes down at 7/7:30pm every night. Normally once shes down that's her till about 4:30/5am then starts fussing because she just wants to be next to me in bed - so I let her in so I can get another hour or so.
But the last week shes been waking up several times around midnight crying hysterically on all fours which never happens. She cant be re settled in her cot, but she will fall asleep on me right away (sometimes chats for 20 mins then falls asleep)

Im guessing she just needs the comfort of me, but is this a sleep regression?
We had a little regression at 4 months but only lasted 2 nights so this is new to me 😅

Shes learning so many new skills like trying to pull herself up on the sofa, crawling at super speeds & babbling like she has her own podcast 🤣

Hahaha same here!! Apparently there isnt such a thing as a 6month sleep regression from what I’ve read. but surely there is?!! The July groups are all full of babies not sleeping well. So I think most definitely!

Apparently around 6/7 months it is when the separation anxiety from mum starts . My baby is all night with me now in bed. Which I really didn’t want to happen. But I can’t wake up every hour.. so if she needs me she will have me 🤣 I definitely think the development is crazy at the moment . They are learning and changing so rapidly . So it really feels like they are waking up all night to practice their new skills 🤣

But I’ve read it is a stage and won’t last very long . Fingers crossed

There is a 6 month regression, but that one seemed to just pass us by without us realising. But what you're describing sounds like the 8 month regression. We're seem to just be coming out of the other side of this now. Our LO is a mega early regressioner!

Apparently you can also get a "perfect storm" around this age where the 8 month regression and separation anxiety collide! 🤦‍♀️😬

It was the worst regression we've been through 🤦‍♀️

But in short, the 8 month regression is the crawling in their sleep one, and apparently 10 month regression is a standing in sleep one 😬

My little girl has been going through this for just over a week now!!
She’s 7 months on the 16th, and we had about 2 weeks of good sleep after the 4 month regression finally ended 😅 last night our airbed finally arrived so I slept on that last night next to her cot (she’s in her own room) and she slept loads better with only one wake up screaming! However that wake up is about 9.30/10.30 pm! No advice though.. feel like we’ve tried everything 😴😴 x

this has been happening to us for over 3 weeks now

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
