Bedtime

What times your bedtimes for little ones? And if you go off last nap how long is your last wake window?

-7 month old swapping between 2/3 naps every day so bedtime is fluctuating. She suffers really badly from false starts so very conscious of long last wake windows. Curios as to know what everyone's bedtimes and morning wakes are xx

Bedtime between 630 and 7. Wakes up between 630 and 7 with at least 1 wake for a feed and sometimes for a cuddle (thank you sleep regression)

Bedtime between 6.45 and 7, wakes in morning between 6.00/6.30 doesnt wake in night for feed if she does wake she self settles i only go in if she is really upset , we were suffering with false starts also. And we found 3 naps helps her but she is a short napper. She has 30 to 40 in morning then 30 to 40 afternoon then I have to wake her if she has nap 3 x

Bedtime between 7-8. Wakes around 8am, he has 2 naps at around 11am and then again around 3/4pm. Our wake windows are about 3 hours x

He wakes up around 7am, first nap at 10ish (usually around 1.5-2hrs), second nap at 2:30ish (this changes a bit depending on first nap time) and always make sure he’s awake by 16:45 no matter what. Bed time at 19:30 and then he wakes twice in the night for a feed and straight back to sleep x

About 6.30pm, and he has between 3 and 4 x 30 min naps a day and his wake windows fluctuate depending on how exciting or boring his day is 🤣

Reading all these comments make me JEALOUS - my little one wakes up 3-4 times a night, wakes up around 5.30 and if I’m lucky will stir until 6.30, still in the next to me crib in our room, wake windows vary. First nap is about 2h after wake and lasts an hour, second nap about 2.5h wake window and lasts an hour, third nap is about 2.5h wake window and we cap it at 30 minutes, last wake window is 2.5-3h and he sleeps around 7.30pm. Saying this, some days, all of this gets thrown out of the window and we just wing it.

Usually in bed by 6.30 but if last nap finishes too late then I adjust but I don’t use wake windows before bed, I just waits till he tells me he’s tired ..

Bedtime is usually around 9pm but could be as early as 8 or as late as 10. It sort of depends on her second nap - if she wakes any time after 4pm then we’ll go about 4 hours before bedtime. If she wakes before then I try to put her down for a third nap to see her through to bedtime, but it’ll normally be a slightly shorter wake window of 3-3.5 hours. She wakes up some time between 7 and 8am (with a couple of night wakings)

Our lgs bedtime is 8, she naps 3 x times a day, last nap around 6/6.30 but sleeps through and sometimes waking once x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
