Constant leg ache

Hey girls,

Second pregnancy and I can't remember this in my first but my legs are CONSTANTLY aching from the hip down right the way it feels like it's right down to my bones. Doesn't matter if I'm sitting, laying down or stood up it's a constant ache. It gets worse with walking,s stairs etc but is always there.

Anyone else had this?

It’s not been constant for me but I had it yesterday evening! Almost felt like really achy growing pains radiating from my hips all the way down to my knees! Was super uncomfortable. Had to take paracetamol and a warm bath to calm it down. I also had the same about a month ago but was only pain going down one leg. So weird! Apparently it can be to do with baby position or hormone changes x

First Midwife Appointment

I had my first midwife appointment yesterday, I've been left full of worry is this normal?

She came to my house, she was so lovely I do feel lucky to have such a good midwife. The meeting was about an hour and a half.

There was so much information to take in I was very overwhelmed!
She went through all the scans testing etc, I never knew there could be so much 'wrong' with a baby. I have now booked an early scan I am freaking out.

I've been googling statistics all morning

Pressure down there?

Hi recently I've noticed when I'm walking I feel pressure 'down there' specifically my urethra, feels like I need to empty my bladder but I don't. Is this just baby's position? It's so uncomfortable

What if I don’t want an induction?

Hi everyone, I’m 39+1 weeks, my next midwife appt is on my due date which I am happy about however hope I go into labour before then. I have had slight twinges and small pains, however nothing has happened yet and I am gutted as I really don’t want any type of induction. Say I get to 41+ weeks, and I don’t want any type of induction, what happens then? This might be a very silly question but my midwife isn’t helpful and would rather hear from others as opposed to doctor Google. Thanksss! X

How many people can stay in hospital

Hi all, do you know how many people can stay with you in the hospital after your delivery in the recovery room? Mine is a planned C-section at Homerton. Do they allow more than 1?

Soft spot concern

I took my little boy into the doctors for a chest infection earlier and they said she concerned over his soft spot hasn't closed yet and is quite sunken.. but he's not dehydrated and putting on weight well, so have done some type of advice and guidance to paeds and said they may want to look at his brain/head or may be nothing, called a doctor in and he said he'd never seen anything like it even working in paeds, which has now made me worry. Anyone else had the same or similar?🥺😭
