Baby girl turned 6 months on sunday and for the last week or so is refusing to let my partner settle her for bedtime. We have a 3 year old who i put to bed as i enjoy our one to one time and feel this is important for her too. Whilst i am trying to put her to bed my partner has the baby and she would usually fall asleep in the sling with him however she seems to hate the sling now and just screams with him the whole time until i come back. Is this the start or seperation anxiety? They both seem to wake up/go to bed at the same times even when i try to space them apart! Anyone else going through the same thing?

You are not alone with your little one refusing to be put to bed by your partner. My 6 month old did the same thing a few weeks ago with my husband but has now decided he doesn't mind being settled by his father. Now and then my baby asks for the final cuddle to sleep before he is done for the night.
We didn't change any routines and he just gave in.
Oh ok thankyou that is good to know! Hopefully she will eventually accept him again!!
