Hi ladies. I am a mother to a 9 month old who is having cleft palate surgery and ear tubes placed next week but I’ve also been dealing with extreme pain in my shoulder and ribs for about a month. I was originally diagnosed with pericarditis and linear plantar collapsed lungs. My pain in my shoulder continued and got worse and i was just diagnosed yesterday with parsonage turner syndrome. I’ve already lost some strength in my right arm and was informed today by my neurologist that I’m still in stage 1 and by the time i make it to stage 2, i will lose almost all function in my arm and it will take some years to regain full strength/function. I am a single mother and I’m trying to see if anyone else has dealt with this or has any advice.

Hey lovely, can you look to see if you have any charities near you to help. Could you afford to have some extra help from a nanny. I’m sorry you are going through this. https://emergetwincities.org/https://onecityminnesota.org/spa. I found these two online xxx

My mom took off 2 weeks to help me after my daughter has her surgery and I’m currently on MN paid leave. I’m just worried about the future and being able to care for her once i start to lose even more function in my arm. I asked my doctor about when i could return to work and he pretty much laughed and said “yeah that won’t be happening in the foreseeable future “ 🤦🏽♀️
