2 year old talking

Is anyones else 2 year old not talking yet. I have a 2 year old who is only saying mama at the moment. I am worried and the health visitor is very helpful and so is his nusery. They are both reassuring that he will speak when he wants to but i am also worried.

Are you on the list for speech therapy? Of course they all develop at their own pace, but if he really only says mama you should be referred. The earlier you start the better.

No harm in getting some help. But to ease your mind a little, I know adults who didn’t speak until they were 2 and they are doing great in life!

As someone who works at nurseries, not talking after two is quite common, it's always better when they can say a word or two as well. I know it's hard, but you must just keep calm and know he will be fine, they almost all catch up between 2 and 3 x

My little boy can say mama &dada he babbles but doesn’t really say much else, he was behind in crawling/ walking, and didn’t pad his 1 or 2 year checks, he’s been referred to paediatricians and speach ans language xx

Baby poops

I’m going alittle crazy! My ebf 11 week old for the past 3 weeks will only poop every 6 days. Brought it up to the pediatrician and I’ve done everything they told us to do. Bicycle kicks, tummy rubs, rectal temp check, warm baths and even a suppository. He is very low on the percentile like 9% so I feel like he isn’t holding on to the milk and about day 4 he is so uncomfortable. We took him to the ER Saturday and they did a xray and just told us he had gas. Went to a follow-up peds appointment and they started him on liquid Pepcid due to possible silent reflux. He burps & farts during/ after feeds. We give mylicon or gripe water for the gas discomfort which helps sometimes. I have a feeling this isn’t normal especially when he used to poop everyday.
Pic so we don’t get lost

Leftover pregnancy/postpartum products

I have a load of leftover products either unopened or only used once, it seems a shame to throw them away any ideas what I can do with them? I don’t have any friends expecting or likely to get pregnant soon and I guess most places wouldn’t take them as donations? Based in London.

Feeling anxious and depressed

Hi everyone
Sorry about the subject I just want someone to talk to. I’ve been feeling anxious and depressed for a long time but since having my children I just don’t want them to see me sad and worried all the time.
I went to the doctors to discuss this with them and was recommended doing couch to 5k with no other help offered? Is this normal.
I understand exercise can sometimes help but I don’t have the time whatsoever as I have no family to help.
I cried my eyes out to this male doctor who offered a few leaflets and couch to 5k and ended it as that.
I left the room in tears.
I’ve never wanted to burden anyone with my problems so I’ve just kept silent about it ever since but I just want to feel happy again
I’m sorry for the sensitive subject

Milk leaking

Does anyone have any tips on how to stop milk leaking? After pumping I’ll put on a nipple pad but it gets soaked up and I leak through my tops/pyjamas.

Does anyone have any nipple pad recommendations? At the moment I’m just using the Boots own make.
