Calpol after 12 month vaccinations ✨

LO had jabs yesterday afternoon and was advised to give calpol after which I done. The nurse then said to give regularly for three days after but online says to only give if required (fever)

Was you given same advice or did you just give if/when needed?

My little boy had his yesterday and has been quite upset since so I’m planning to keep up regular Calpol and ibuprofen until he seems better in himself. BUT if he was fine I wouldn’t be giving him anything

The nurse told me not to give calpol after these ones (unless it was needed) 🤷

My daughter had hers a week ago and I gave her some before her jabs and 24hours after just incase a fever did spike. She was fine though

I gave mine a dose before jags as this is always recommended with this jag. With ones that can cause fever they say to give 3 doses but I gave that first one then one before bed. In the morning his temp was raised slightly so I gave him another dose and that’s it. Unless he gets a temp I won’t be giving x

Mounjaro

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Sleep regression

Does anyone know how long this sleep regression lasts? My son has gone from sleeping through to being up every hour for the last two weeks, I'm soooo tired!!🥲

Bedtime

When should I start getting my little one into a bed routine? He’s 2 months old and will go to bed with me.. normally I don’t go to bed until 10pm due to having other kids and cleaning up etc.. but is it a good idea to be getting him into his own routine and setting up a monitor in his cot or is it too early for him?

7 week old baby won’t sleep

I’m genuinely at a loss. My 7 week old will not sleep on a night time. Everytime she falls asleep in my arms I go to put her down and she wakes up instantly is awake for hours afterwards

Struggling

My baby just turned 3 weeks and although I was doing so well at the start, I feel like I’m being worn down now. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my life being constant 2 hour increments of feeding, burping, changing and trying to soothe a fussy baby, then grabbing whatever scraps of sleep I can when he goes down is so exhausting. One of my boobs has now started hurting (not the nipple, the boob itself) and I’m so stressed at night trying to get through without my partner waking as he has work the next day. I’m not sure what I’m asking for, I suppose I’m just venting to feel less alone. I’m so grateful to have my baby, but this is so hard and I’m scared.

Toddler and new born

I have just given birth a couple of weeks ago and also have a 3 year old. My husband works from home and works for himself which I would’ve considered lucky. Before we gave birth we agreed that he would mainly be responsible for our toddler along helping with newborn as I can’t drive and lift heavy after c-section.

My husband takes our toddler to nursery around 7:30am and picks him up at 6pm and does night routine with him. My husband does not help out at all with new born during the night and says he needs to have a good night sleep to wake up early to deal with our son. He helps during the day here and there when I want to eat and shower but rushes to give baby back as soon as I’m done.

My new born does not sleep long in the night and cluster feeds too. I breastfeed but also pump to make it easier. I am so mentally drained. On top of that my c-section incision is infected and opened up, presumably from doing too much. I can’t remember the last time I slept longer than 2 hours and in the night I probably get 3 hours all round due to my nb staying awake for a while. I honestly just feel like crying most days from exhaustion and I can’t help but feel like I should have a lot bit more help during the night. Even if it was just one day a week. Then again I understand dealing with our son and working too.

Im just abit torn on whether I should be getting more help than I am.
