I wondered if anyone relates to this.. we hear a lot how as mums we need to take care of ourselves and sure, everyones definition of that is probably a bit different but, i am always last in my mind. The kids get sick and i'm doing everything to get them well.. I'm cleaning their stuff so its nice and cosy for them, keeping them dosed up, feeding them good foods to support their immune system, boiling their toothbrushes daily to kill any bad bacteria and then i get sick... i don't buy myself some medication, i eat whatevers easy (usually a ready meal or similar because i cant be bothered to make myself something proper) i wait until im not sick to change my bedding.. basically i dont follow any of the advice or treat myself half as well as i do my children. I still obviously wash myself daily, brush my teeth.. its not total regret but even some of the things i buy 'for the family' to help with illnesses (obas oils, menthol crystals etc) i wont use them because id rather keep them back for the kids incase they get sick.... stupid, i can afford to buy more but its like i treat myself like a second class citizen 𤣠just wondered if anyone else had this weird mindset.

I thought this was just what moms do. đ totally the same. At most I might take a longer hot shower but otherwise I push through my crap so they can be their best.

I use to until i realized I am actually short changing my child and husband. Not taking care of myself is like âusing a pot continuously without cleaning itââŚâŚ its like trying to pour from an half empty cup. When youre on an air plane and its about to go down⌠the folden rule is to âput the oxygen on yourself firstâ so then u can help others. I realize that my wellbeing flows into them. My mental flows into them. Its saidâŚâwhen mom hums⌠the whole family sings along.â So i changed my mind that helping me⌠is helping them. I just do little things to replenish myselfâŚ. Like prayer and devotion even if its 5 minutes, a cup of coffee and taking my supplements daily. Taking time to eat something. All that increases my energy and mood⌠so i make it happen. I sometimes have to give myself a âmommy time outâ to bathe or watch a show. All this just helps me. I do skincare nightly. I take care of my hair. Little things to replenish myself and I feel better.
I signed up for the full 8 weeks of baby bonding. However, I didnât receive a payment after 4 weeks and there are no pending forms. Has this happened to anyone? Was it easy to resolve?

Hi ladies. We recently moved to NJ and itâs so lonely out here for me. I literally have no friends out here đ˘. I hope I can meet some decent women on here who also want meaningful friendships.

My partner has just gone out with his work friends and its made me realise ive never actually had time to see my friends and having a few drinks since having baby girl!
Im 9 months post partum and my daughter has stayed out at grandparents so me and my partner have time together but ive never been out with a girl friend!
All my girl friends are mums so I completely get finding childcare but I feel so bloody alone!! At 30 years old I still wanna be going for a cheeky cocktail.
Im just feeling MEH - I dunno what I wanna achieve writing this but just wanted to rant đđ¤Śââď¸

So Iâm 31 weeks today and I genuinely have not done a single workout since. You know, all the pelvic floor workouts they talk about. Iâve been so tired and lazy but I think itâs time to get serious. What are some workouts you are doing and please add YouTube links if you use YouTube. Thanks
