Hi ladies!
So I’m a fairly fit person and I’m not too concerned about my weight but considering that I’m pregnant I want to find safe exercises to do.
My question to anyone who does do yoga or any type of exercise to stay healthy, what are your favorite exercises or yoga stretches to do?

Hey Ariel! I am pregnancy and postpartum certified and would love to connect!

“Safe” is whatever you were doing before because your body is used to it. If you dance salsa, keep dancing salsa. If you lift 20kg, keep lifting 20kg. They say if you start anything new when pregnant then take it slow and easy. But you can continue whatever you were already doing, just drink more water and listen to your body when you need to go less or slower or have a break that’s all. My salsa teacher- I saw her announce her pregnancy, she taught all the way through until she popped then came back at 2m pp to keep teaching.
Given them the benefit of the doubt multiple times. I’m fed up with Having to sit there and watch things happen and wanting to cry. Avoiding visits/meet ups, just for it to happen again the next time.
And you know what her response was “oh this is all new, we always kissed babies none of this was a thing. I didn’t know he was ill, I’ll
tell him to let me know next time”.
That’s a straight up lie. She knew & she let him keep touching her hands and letting her put them back in her mouth (after he’s just been coughing in his hands). (Baby is a newborn can I add)
I’ve never even been close with this woman, I met her 1-2 times before I fell pregnant. Then when I was pregnant she never once asked to see me. I only saw her once because I invited her to the baby shower. Now that baby’s here , suddenly she wants to see her every day.
I know times are different but even my own parents & grandparents have said this is all common sense/respect for a young baby.

Hey everyone I’m McKenna my son was born in July. He is my first baby and I love being his mommy but I’m also kind of lonely. It was like once I had my baby people got excited for about 2 weeks then fell off the face of the planet. So I’m looking to connect with other moms who are in a similar boat to me. I would love to get to know some of you!
