Long sleep stretch

My two-month-old usually naps for about 1.5–2 hours during the day and sleeps in stretches of up to 3 hours at night. But last night, he slept for 6 hours straight 😳🫠 They say to let a thriving baby sleep, but has anyone else experienced something like this?

My girl sleeps for 10/11 hours some nights 🫣I just leave her because if I force a bottle into she’ll just be sick, she soon wakes when she needs it. Our babies are also getting a bit older which means they may sleep a bit longer. My girl rarely naps in the day so it can be a nightmare when she gets overtired but that’s normal! I’ve said to my health visitor and she says as long as she’s got enough wet nappies then it shouldn’t be a problem x

My baby boy is doing exactly the same! At first I was worried, but a hungry baby will always wake to feed! Just relax and get some rest yourself!❤️

Thank you Holly! It must be nice to get that stretch of sleep for yourself! Xx I was terrified as it’s the first time he’s done it 🫠😂 once you pray for them to sleep through, and the second they do you panic 😂 somebody save me

My LO will do 6+ stretches and initially was worried! However as long as they’re gaining weight they should be fine! If your little one is hungry they will wake😌 it probably means that your LO is getting enough calories in the day! Enjoy! I know I felt worried at first now it’s nice to get the sleep! X

Gripe Water

Has anyone else dealt with this? My 7-week-old struggles every night to pass gas, grunting and kicking for hours starting at 2:00 AM. It's making sleep impossible for both of us! Has anyone tried gripe water,or other remedies, and did you actually see results? Would love to hear what worked for you. We do have Infacol but cannot really see improvement.

Period return- combi-feeding

I’m 8.5 weeks pp and my period has just come back. I am combi-feeding (50% breastmilk and 50% formula). Does this timeline seem normal? I don’t know why I was expecting longer before it came back 😭

Own room

When did you move your baby into their own room. My LO is 5 and a half months old and I have a cold currently and I'm just constantly waking her up in the night . Is it okay to move her separately

Cold sore and baby is two weeks old

I have a tingling on my lip and I’m thinking it’s the start of a cold sore as has been the case in the past. Has anyone had this before?? How did you protect your baby from exposure? I don’t know how best to protect him. I’ve obviously stopped kissing him, but I was kissing him today before I felt this tingle. I’m worried about spreading this to him and exposure he may have already had. Is it overboard to contact the GP?

I’ll be getting patches tomorrow but want to make sure I’m doing everything I can, so if anyone has any suggestions thanks in advance!

I feel so guilty and awful that I may have exposed him. It’s second nature to kiss him now so I’m struggling a little and I’m worried I’ll slip up. I’m so angry I have to worry about this. Thanks to my grandma when I was young, I was exposed and now I have to deal with this. To those mummas saying no to people kissing their babies, keep saying no you’re doing what’s best for them!

Do breastfeeding women “smell”

So I’ve never breastfeed I don’t even know what it’s like.

My child was in formula since day one of birth…
A few of my relatives have said that women who breastfeed have a smell on them…
Is that like a milk smell that they have?
