Severe Toothache

Yes I had the same but wisdom tooth and it was growing into my jaw, it was so painful I couldn’t eat or open my mouth, they said they can’t do much as I was pregnant and literally filed the tooth as much as they could so it wasn’t hurting when opening my mouth. It didn’t improve and I got it extracted after I gave birth , it was horrible, I had to keep using orajel

I was told I wasn’t allowed any removals while pregnant and just had to keep topped up on orajel

yes i had this and still get it i remember eating a jolly rancher and my tooth split and half fell out while i was pregnant with my daughter

Toothache is common during pregnancy due to hormonal changes. Gingivitis is common as hormones can cause gum inflammation. Morning sickness can also contribute to pain due to the acidity in the mouth - try using corsodyl toothpaste and mouthwash and throwing the occasional salt water mouth rinse… ibuprofen should be avoided I’m not sure of other pain relief that can help with the pain that’s safe to take?

I had 2 teeth out during pregnancy! 1 during lockdown & the other about 3/4 wees before I gave birth! Pregnancy ruined my teeth 😭
