Does everyone elses baby still fight sleep? I feel so bad, he ends up screaming hysterically before he goes to sleep most of the time. Daytime naps are also impossible without hysterics and have to be contact naps otherwise he wakes straight back up 🫠

Yes and yes. I almost lost the plot the other night...some days he is lovely and some.. nightmare.
I'm afraid to try to leave him to nap on his own, I have to rock him for 20/30 mins, it's exhausting.
You're not alone!!!

Yep same here, we're down to 3 x 30min naps a day but we have to fight for them (and lots of hitting and hair pulling 🙈) and then we definitely can't put him down. The fighting isn't fun, but I've decided I can choose my attitude towards the fact he'll only contact nap - and so the way I see it now is it's the universe telling me to rest. So I get a guilt free 30min sit down during the days, knowing I'm doing what's best for my little man. It won't always be this way, hard to believe now, but everything is just a phase and you're not alone 💛

It’s so hard! Have you looked into wake windows and nap times? Following approximate timings for wake windows and going off your babies sleep cues helps massively! For an August baby (mine was born on 3rd) we are doing first nap 2h after waking, then wake windows of 3h during the day, with the last window 4h before bed. We know she’s tired when she rubs her eyes, yawns and/or gets whingey. Avoiding under tiredness and overtiredness is key otherwise they fight it. Hope that helps and good luck!
My gorg girl is finally here due sept 29th born on the 7th sept 01:59 weighing a gorg 3870g, i went into spontaneous labour on tuesday morning woke up with the worst contractions which throughout the day got worse got to the hospital was 6cm dilated, made it to 9cm unmedicated before baby girl decided to go back to back in the last 1cm!! Bare in mind she was in the same position since 26weeks ahaha they knew her shoulder was going to get stuck and she was born with shoulder dystocia but no broken bones or sprains! So i had to get the epidural- anyone pregnant with a back to back baby the back contractions were the worst pain i ever felt in my life… anyways, forceps later and a small episiotomy as well - which literally after a day its healing really well down there and her tiny forceps scars are healing well as well. We are both so well and the hospital did an amazing job, another reason for epidural was they had to get her out quick as her heart rate was dropping so i had to push like asap they gave me 5 mins before the red button was pressed and a bunch of doctors ran in ahah, so far from my birth plan as i wanted to do 100% unmediated and in a water pool but at least i didn’t end up in c section and managed to push baby girl out! One of the hardest things ive ever done in my life but she is perf ❤️

How many words does your 18mo have? We've got about 6/7 and have been told by nursery and the health visitor thats the lower end/slightly behind. She understands very well, but rarely uses the words she knows and was a late babbler.
Just wondering if anyone else had been through the same with any advice to help her speech?

My baby is on cow and gate and has been for the last 2 weeks. I introduced breast alongside but she is refusing to latch because of the confusion and is getting frustrated when I’m trying to feed. However I’ve now stopped (for my mental state) she’s now showing signs of being very uncomfortable and straining and isn’t pooing until over 48 hours. We have been to the doctors and they have said because she is showing signs of uncomfortableness and straining to switch formulas. However they said not to use cow and gate comfort as it sits in the stomach longer.
Does anyone have any recommendations for formula that will help her bowels?

Hey ladies!
I am a woman on the edge. My baby has not had a single poo in the last 3 days that hasn’t escaped out of her nappy somehow. We’re using pampers which are supposed to be poonami proof! Is my baby just an aggressive pooper?!
Thoughts, prayers and advice needed please ❤️

Looking for some advice, my nearly 5 week old baby will suck on a dummy for around 1-2 mins then spits it out and start fussing again that he wants it, sometimes he will even wake up from a nap for it. This will continue until he falls into a deep sleep and eventually when the dummy falls out he won’t wake back up . He will also settle without a dummy so does he maybe just not want it or are the dummies too big for his mouth I’m not sure 😩 we have tried the mam newborn orthodontic ones and the tommee tippee 0-2 month (the teat on these are a lot bigger). He is also formula fed, has anyone else been through this if so all advice welcome 🙏🏻
