I feel so emotionally drained I just don’t understand why anything the expecting boundaries mum wants to put in place is always classed as over the top “crazy” I just am so done with it all now it’s just a constant fight people telling me I’m harming my baby by not letting them kiss the baby or letting the baby near anyone that’s sick… I’m making my babies immune system non existent and I’m causing more harm we didn’t do this in our days just so fed up with it all

Oh the kiss the baby or sick ppl around baby INFURIATES me. The only way I've found is just sending the THANKS flyer from the Lullaby Trust, and explaining it's just for the first 3 months. Also 'we didn't do this and you turned out fine' I answer 'yeah and we used to not wear seatbelts in cars and now they're mandatory for a reason. We can learn to makes things safer.'

Its the most frustrating thing - and drains you both while pregnant & when baby is here.
But ultimately its your baby and your rules and if people done respect that then thats on them🤍
Anyone who truly cares about you and baby will have no problem sticking to your boundaries with your child!!
as hard as it is stick to your guns and show them that its a non negotiable your doing the best thing for your baby - screw their opinions 👏🏻 xx

I’d be sending links to research! Then not replying or saying “I’m not entertaining this anymore” then not replying!
Your baby, your rules x

I still feel this frustration 2 year's after having my first. Others are always going to have their opinions and think you're being over the top. I feel like even more so the older generations and maybe they take it to heart as it makes them feel like they did things wrong... obviously not true. Things just change and more research emerges! The only advice I have...which I constantly try to convince myself of even now...is...your baby..your rules! Stick to them and don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Learn not to care what others think .
As someone else said. Send the research too. I had to send a video to my mother in law of a fake car crash just to convince her I'm not crazy keeping my child rear facing. She hasn't mentioned it since
My 6 months old rolls a lot in her crib. Last night she bumped her head on ut when rolling. Any recommendations or links to get some sort of padded protector around the crib??

Hello!
I am struggling with my 20 months old. She’s amazing but when it’s time to go to sleep she just won’t sleep. Napping is almost impossible and bedtime is eternal. It takes me at least an hour to put her to sleep. If I am not literally next to her, she will cry and won’t stop until I come back (she can cry for 30 mins no problem and never get tired). Also she won’t allow my husband to put her to sleep.
I know this is my fault because I didn’t sleep training her correctly when I was supposed to but I keep trying everything and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice on how to teach her to fall asleep?
Thank you for your time!

So I just need to ask os Huckleberry worth paying for, I need help with my daughter, she has hit the four months stage and last night sent me to the edge, she took over an hour to get her to sleep, I had her asleep around six ISH on me went to transfer after half an hour, and she woke up, checked the app and she needed milk then she went back to sleep around eight ish on me, managed to transfer her to her cot till 10 ISH she had another bottle and went straight back to sleep afterwards but then started fussing around two ISH in the cot eyes closed but whining, I put the dummy in and she went back to sleep and she did this again, still with her eyes closed about half an hour after, then up for four am, had some milk and a nappy change back down near five till eight in the morning, I have been tracking it on huckleberry and wondered if it was worth paying for the premium to get more advice on how to get her to sleep through like she used to, I am going to do a bathing routine three times a week as they not to bathe a baby too much and then I am trying to have wind down times between half six and seven, I am knackered and trying anything but does anyone else's child fuss during the night? Mine does I said before but she doesn't open her eyes or anything so I pop the dummy in to sooth her and try and let her fall back to sleep herself, I watch to see if her eyes open at all. Am I doing this right because I am confused and tired.

Hi.
Stupid question as my brain isn’t braining.
My baby is now officially 6m old (happy half birthday!) and I’m wondering what the next step is for using a seat for her bath? She currently has the picture attached and she’s almost grown out of it.
She can’t sit unaided yet, is it the seat I get for her?

Hi all! our lactation consultant mentioned my baby has tongue tie, although she feeds well, it’s not painful for me and she’s gaining weight. However, she drips lots of milk during the feeds, she often spits up a lot and she’s very gassy. Thus she suggested to cut it next week, when she’ll be three weeks old. I am so scared she will have a nursing strike. My first baby stopped feeding from the breasts after the procedure for so long and I had mastitis. She developed a preference for the bottle but I had no other choice at that time because the pain for me was unbearable. With my second I don’t have this issue and I am scared she’ll stop breastfeeding too! My second never took a bottle. Anyone can share their experience?

We made its 10 weeks exclusively breast feeding just to find out my baby has cmpa and possibly a soy sensitivity and the dietary restrictions are too much. I also don’t mind formula feeding she’s been doing well with it. We started all this in last 3 days. Any advice?
