Transition to big cot

Hey everyone so my son is sleeping really well atm super happy with sleep but I feed him then hold him till he falls asleep and cuz he's in his next to me right now I just slide him off my lap into his bed.
As he's nearly 6 months and sleeping all the way through the night I'm thinking soon it will be time for him to be in his cot in his own room (i have an owlet sock and camera already for safety) my main concern is how do I feed him then get him to sleep and put him down without him wakeing 🤔 do I need to get a chair in his room to feed him in before bed or do I feed him in my room and the carry to his room to put down.... just nervous he will fall asleep on me then wake up as soon as I stand then how do I comfort him while he's in his cot 🤔 sorry first time mum so milestones scare me abit haha

I would get a nice comfy armchair or rocking chair to feed him in his room ☺️ he might stir the first few times but ultimately he will get used to it ☺️ when he’s in his cot, if he wakes you can always pop your hand on his chest, pat his bum, shush him, stroke his face, just the same way you would comfort him at any other time of day. Having the chair in his room will also be handy if you need to take him out and resettle him at any point and perfect for sitting in to read stories and things when he gets older 🥲

Does he have a sleepbag for bed, I sometimes put my son in one after I've fed him and sit with him for a while that way his own body heat warms up the sleepbag, so when he goes down he doesn't feel like he's loosing warmth from me if you know what I mean

My september baby is finally here

My gorg girl is finally here due sept 29th born on the 7th sept 01:59 weighing a gorg 3870g, i went into spontaneous labour on tuesday morning woke up with the worst contractions which throughout the day got worse got to the hospital was 6cm dilated, made it to 9cm unmedicated before baby girl decided to go back to back in the last 1cm!! Bare in mind she was in the same position since 26weeks ahaha they knew her shoulder was going to get stuck and she was born with shoulder dystocia but no broken bones or sprains! So i had to get the epidural- anyone pregnant with a back to back baby the back contractions were the worst pain i ever felt in my life… anyways, forceps later and a small episiotomy as well - which literally after a day its healing really well down there and her tiny forceps scars are healing well as well. We are both so well and the hospital did an amazing job, another reason for epidural was they had to get her out quick as her heart rate was dropping so i had to push like asap they gave me 5 mins before the red button was pressed and a bunch of doctors ran in ahah, so far from my birth plan as i wanted to do 100% unmediated and in a water pool but at least i didn’t end up in c section and managed to push baby girl out! One of the hardest things ive ever done in my life but she is perf ❤️

Dummy - do I don’t I?!?!

Help - my 4 week old has hit an episode every night now without fail that she is waking up every hour/2 for a feed which I think is ok for this age? But she is such a struggle to get back down to sleep and just makes constant squeals moans for about an extra hour before she is in proper sleep - would a dummy help her settle ? Can we introduce only at night?!

Speech

How many words does your 18mo have? We've got about 6/7 and have been told by nursery and the health visitor thats the lower end/slightly behind. She understands very well, but rarely uses the words she knows and was a late babbler.

Just wondering if anyone else had been through the same with any advice to help her speech?

Need some advice

My baby is on cow and gate and has been for the last 2 weeks. I introduced breast alongside but she is refusing to latch because of the confusion and is getting frustrated when I’m trying to feed. However I’ve now stopped (for my mental state) she’s now showing signs of being very uncomfortable and straining and isn’t pooing until over 48 hours. We have been to the doctors and they have said because she is showing signs of uncomfortableness and straining to switch formulas. However they said not to use cow and gate comfort as it sits in the stomach longer.

Does anyone have any recommendations for formula that will help her bowels?

Poonami proof nappies

Hey ladies!
I am a woman on the edge. My baby has not had a single poo in the last 3 days that hasn’t escaped out of her nappy somehow. We’re using pampers which are supposed to be poonami proof! Is my baby just an aggressive pooper?!
Thoughts, prayers and advice needed please ❤️
