I’m severely sleep deprived and in the night when my 7m old wakes up (which is often, on average every 2h) I just swear at her and I feel so angry and the level of rage I feel scares me. I have intrusive thoughts like I’ll just run out the front door and wait for a car to hit me. Then I feel a lot of shame and like a horrible mother. What to do?
I’ve already tried to get help and the SSRI but it didn’t agree with me.

I’ve been like this for the past couple of days with my 16 mo. She’s been so whingy and not sleeping through the night for seemingly no reason and I feel ever so guilty with how angry it’s made me

Have you been referred to the perinatal team? Sounds like you need the extra support. The urge to run is 1 of the well know symptoms of postnatal depression. I was under the perinatal team with my first born and they really helped me. There are other antidepressants that you can try as well if you need them. Please dont struggle in silence. Theres people who want to help. ❤️
Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.
My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.
The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.
It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.
How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

I feel absolutely insane but I'm nervous to take my almost 4 month old out shopping with me lol. I was hoping he'd be able to sit in the cart so I don't have to bring in the car seat. Should I just put him in a baby wearing carrier? Why do I feel like I'm making a bigger deal out of this than it should be 😂

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for maternity bras for big boobs. Not necessarily needing breastfeeding friendly, but something comfortable and soft with support.
I am 9 weeks pregnant and my boobs already are spilling out of my current bras and they are soooo heavy and sore.
I'm a 36G normally but will need to go up 🙃 (genuinely thought they couldn't get any bigger 😂😂)
