So I am planning to visit my OB about this its just hard since my partner is having issues and we're moving and we have a baby with medical issues as well. However, I finally decided I was ready to have sex again and we tried but it feels like the sides of the vaginal opening are kinda burning like it isn't lubricated correctly, even though both times we tried we made sure it was adequately lubricated before trying. I immediately thought it might be a muscle thing and found out about this. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced and is there anything I can do at home to help with this? Like certain pelvic floor exercises? We don't have a lot of money so I'm trying to avoid making it a big medical thing.

If you tore at all its very likely the scar tissue is being pulled, I had a 2nd degree tear and it felt like that to me too since scars dont strech its taking the other parts longer to adjust and pull places that can stretch but arnt used to it. It just takes time and patience to heal and more "nice" intercoarse rather then full on penatration right away
