My first was diagnosed at 10 weeks with rashes / eczema, runny nose, bloody stools. I don’t remember exactly when it all started but was definitely the first 2 weeks.
Now my second (4days old) started to become unsettled and not sure if he’s done a normal poop or if he is possibly allergic. Will post in comments
I am paranoid because it was hell with my first until he was on the right milk😢

Our second is 8 weeks tomorrow and was diagnosed at 7 weeks with cmpa. Our little girl was diagnosed much earlier but both unfortunately did😓

First no allergies, second non-ige cmpa and soya allergy. Third non-ige cmpa and oat intolerance. The pic doesn't scream allergy to me, can't see any mucous or blood. Does look a little grainy but it can depending on what they're drinking. Baby poop doesn't usually smell too bad, however allergy poop always smells foul like a blocked drain or spicy/vinegar. Does baby have any other symptoms? With my youngest I worked out cmpa within hours of birth (hospital made me give her formula and she instantly became very upset and rashy) although didn't get a diagnosis until later as I breastfed I just cut out dairy. X

I can’t smell the poop tbh, but when holding LO can feel he is gassy 😢

My eldest has never been officially diagnosed as having cmpa. When she was little we just assumed she was wingey at certain times of the day.
We now have 15m twins. One had significant symptoms who failed the milk challenge at 5m so confirmed cmpa. The other very mild who actually didn’t start showing symptoms until cows milk was added to food!
Looking back now we thing our eldest probably also had mild symptoms but it was covid, she was our first etc. we have become even more suspicious recently that she has cot cmpa as she had a stomach bug last year and since then has not been able to tolerate milk to drink, cheese, butter or ice cream. Having read around it, gastroenteritis can cause a temporary milk allergy usually 6-8 weeks this resolves but can also trigger an outgrown allergy which we suspect has happened!

As a midwife, I would not be concerned by this poo at 4 days. This looks like a changing stool of a baby who is grumpy because they are about to go through a day 5 growth spurt/sensing maternal hormone increases to prepare for the increase in milk production (even if you are not breastfeeding your hormonal response still does this just in case!)

First baby was diagnosed with CMPA at 5.5 months old. And this second baby is showing signs of a milk allergy and he’s 7 weeks old but doctors and HV are adamant that it’s reflux which was the exact same with my first x

First absolutely no allergies whatsoever, my boy dairy, soya, eczema, and asthma! Awaiting further testing on further allergies
If you are going to be rude or insensitive to others, don’t comment on this post.
if you gave birth via caesarean, would it bother you if someone asked if you gave birth “naturally or by caesarean” (nothing to do with whether you were medicated).
When I gave birth I always answered “vaginally” to others and they seemed uncomfortable 🤣 there was nothing natural about that shit show lmao

Hi, not expecting a diagnosis obviously but maybe just some opinions and or advice. I have a nearly 4 month old. I’ve been to my doctor re my mental health and they have told me to do a self referral for some talk therapy but it looks like it could take a few months. I’m really struggling but I don’t know if it’s a normal amount as a new first time mum or something more. I feel very low a lot of the time, crying most days but not every day, feeling isolated (no mum friends), feeling like I’m not enjoying being a mum as much as I hoped, missing my old life and freedom, struggling with patience and the constant crying and fussing, feeling like it’s Groundhog Day, jealous of my husbands life, feeling like I’m not doing a good enough job, worrying I’m not doing things well enough and it will negatively affect her, only feeling better when I have people with me who know about kids and can step in and help eg in laws etc. I have tried hard to work on being positive, I get out for multiple walks every day, I’ve joined a sensory class, I’m on this app but I feel like none of it is really working or doing much. I feel like I’m ticking boxes of things that should help but I’m not making any mum friends and honestly a lot of the time it feels like I’m masking. Sometimes I get so upset and cry and I can’t really explain why….

Hi, I am going to be a first time mum in December, at the moment we have a double bed in the spare room (which is going to be the nursery) my initial plan was to sell the bed, do people think this is a good idea.
Or during the night do you think it’s good to have in case baby won’t settle, and I can sleep in the spare room with him.
Preferably I would want to sleep in the same bed as my partner so hopefully won’t need it.
I just wondered what other people did?

I’m feeling quite guilty.. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my baby is 10 weeks now, my husband is in the navy also which means me and baby alone most night. I’ve found myself just ending up co sleeping just because it happens, I feed then fall asleep and that’s how I sleep. When he was smaller and a new born or if me or if me and my husband are both in the bed I always prefer him and feel better with him in the next to me but when it’s just me is it okay to co sleep. Any tips on how to stay safe? I feel guilty because all my family hate it and the idea of it and I do too but non of them have ever breastfed.

Do you and when did you start turning on ms.rachel for your little ones? My baby is 10 months and I don't turn on any screens for her but I have heard that people start early to help with speech development. Obviously in moderation. Any thoughts
