Is anyone expressing breast milk after 2 weeks? I’ve tried to but it’s overwhelming with my little one feeding every 2-3 hours. How are others handling both.

Are you expressing to feed via bottle or are you direct feeding as well as trying to express
Generally it isn’t advised under 6 weeks if bat is direct feeding, unless there is a clinical need as it can lead to an oversupply which can in turn lead to blocked ducts/ mastitis.

I use a Hakka either overnight or on the first morning feed. I get enough for 1 bottle as it's when my boobs are most full. Because it's a Hakka, I just pop it on one side whilst I'm feeding on the other so it's not an extra task. Working well so far, I will start using my electric pump when the cluster feeding has stopped / slowed down

I am 2 weeks in and have started expressing from one side to put in a bottle as I was getting so much pain from one side and baby wouldn’t feed off it. I express 3 times a day (8am, 3pm, 10pm) so they’re spaced out evenly. Then I feed off the other breast in between. It’s working well for us so far!

Currently 5 days pp and struggling with the breastfeeding due to nipple pain my midwife suggested pumping the side my nipple is worse on to bottle feed but also struggling to do this alongside feeding him. Xx

I'm 9 days pp and having to express to top up breastfeeds as LO isn't gaining much weight.
I understand what you mean by overwhelming. The first few days I didn't understand how I was supposed to pump and also have enough time and milk left for baby to feed from boob, but I found pumping as soon as I could after feeding her, then hand expressing to empty my breasts as much as possible has yielded results in 4 days. It gives me max time for boobs to refill and every time they're emptied they trigger body to up production.
I’ve returned to work and my breast fed baby girl will NOT take to any bottle. I have tried so many. Any suggestions?

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Our baby shower is in 19 days and theres only been 7 things bought off our registry... i cant help but be a little upset. ive heard other parents say similar things about their registries being ignored and i just feel like im doing something wrong?? we're going to be thankful for everything we're gifted of course but i dont understand why people wouldnt want to get things we're specifically asking for when theyre going to get a gift anyway..... how did your registries turn out? is there something i can do to boost it more? please help :(

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.
Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.
Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

My little girl is 7.5 weeks and we are struggling with feeding. When she takes the bottle, halfway into a feed she will be hysterically crying and want to continue to eat but keeps pulling off. This happens with the boob but not as much as only feeding boob mainly at night with a few day feeds. She will take the bottle if she’s either tired or distracted. Has anyone experienced this please? It started around 1.5 weeks ago and we are mainly doing pumped breast milk. Hoping this is just a phase 😩

My little one is 5 weeks old and does not wind!! No matter what I do. I try for like 15 minutes and he doesn’t bring anything up, I tend to keep him lying on me after feeding if I can’t wind him and he’s normally ok. There’s been the odd occasion he’s spat up when I’ve led him down but it’s very rare. What is the consequences if he is not burped? It’s stressing me out because surely he has something to bring up and don’t want him being uncomfortable 🙈
