I’m having lumpectomy surgery in my boob at next week and firstly i’m terrified i’ve never been under General before. Anyway my daughter is almost 2 and i can’t lift her for 6 weeks they say. She has a toddler bed so that’s fine it’s mainly lifting her in and out the pram. I CANNOT stay in the house for 6 weeks 😭 she will walk but she will go 15 mins and want to be picked up. so how would you go about this. i thought about moving pram to sofa and telling her to climb in obviously under supervision however she hates the pram at the best of times and refuses to get in it 9 times out of 10 anyway. What’s the best toddler mum hacks after surgery?

Sorry to hear you are having to go through this surgery. I had a mastectomy when my children were young. The only thing I can recommend is lots of support from friends and family. You need to protect yourself and not overdo things. Do you have a local support network? If not could someone move in with you for at least the first few weeks? x
