I’m due towards the end of March and I honestly can’t focus at work anymore (desk job). It’s not that I don’t have the mental capacity to do my work anymore, it’s more so that I just can’t wait to meet my baby and that’s all I think about!

Yup! I moved my matleave forward as I couldn’t be asked anymore 😅

I stopped my office job at 36 weeks for this reason! Took 2 weeks holidays and my maternity starts now officially today - planned Csection at the end of this week 👏🏻
If you have the option to use some leave i reccomend tje downtime is lovely x

I stopped working from 36 weeks. I’m 39 weeks today. I did have a pregnancy massage at 37weeks a pedicure spa at 38 weeks. Also went to cafes by myself & met other pregnant ladies from my NCT class. It is so good to pamper & distract yourself + had enough time for more nesting. :) I’m going to a prenatal yoga at the hospital tomorrow where osteopaths got invited too. I cannot wait to hold my baby girl. 1st time mum and if baby would not born by 9th March will be induced at 13th March.

I’m due on Wednesday and my last day was Thursday just gone… ngl the last week was brutal!! Thankfully I could wfh but I was just so mentally exhausted x

I'm also feeling the same! At least thankfully I'm able to work from home but I rather not have to log in at all. I have another 9 days of work to go and am going to finish on 13 March. Am feeling like taking more days off but also then feeling more guilty about taking it earlier if the time can be spent more with baby when she is here.
I am 39 weeks today and had my last scan this morning and it’s all good. Tonight I’ve noticed for the last hour or so no moving. I’m really scared cos usually he moves all day and night especially at night to the point I can’t sleep. I don’t know if I should wait or go if it’s only been around a hours time?
It says online not to prod and poke or have water cos it won’t mean anything I am sat in bed watching it but I really don’t know what to do!!
My tummy is just completely still. I was and have had Brixton hicks for ages and right now my tummy is rock hard but just nothing moving

Hi mummas,
I had an emergency C-section 15 weeks ago. I haven't had much rest, and as a single mum, I’ve been completely on my own since August caring for my little one and my 14-year-old beagle.
The thing is... the external scar has healed completely, but I’m not sure about the internal ones. I still have pain and discomfort in the area. If I touch the scar or my belly around it, it hurts, and the skin feels weird—kind of half-numb. I can only wear "grandma" knickers because anything else presses on the scar and hurts.
Is this going to be like this forever? Has anyone experienced the same? Should I be doing something about it?
I was really shocked that my 6-week postnatal appointment was completely useless. The doctor didn’t check me or ask about my C-section recovery at all—the only thing they asked about was contraception! It was horrible. I really need some advice please...
Also, I feel like this body isn't mine anymore. At the beginning I didn't care much, but now I feel like my abdomen will always be big and "horrible," and it's getting me down. I mean, I'm very protective of my body because it created life! But at the same time... I feel ugly 😅🤦🏻♀️

So we were meditating on the name Philip for a boy…
My husband is a PhD in philosophy, so he loves it. I thought of the name, Phillip because my auntie was yelling at me to “take my pills.” … I don’t know about the negative connotations…

Hii, I just maybe need some reassurance. My baby turned 3 months today and he’s still not able to hold his head up confidently like it’s still wobbly at times and I still can’t hold him up for a long time without putting my hand on his back. He can hold his head up just not for long does this make sense? And is this normal 🙈

Does anyone have any suggestions for hip pain relief? Ive seen a physio and she said my hip is just very tight and sore. So apparently a belt won't help. it's getting to the point it's waking me in the night on both sides, although definitely worse on my left side. I do sleep with a pregnancy pillow between my knees as well. any advice would be amazing. How on earth am I going to make it another 10 weeks 😰
