Early waking

Our LO is also 8 months and goes to bed around a similar time, she's on 3 meals currently and EFF.

I've found that if she doesn't do a full feed before bed then she will often wake around 2-4am. Apparently, it's more likely to be thirst than hunger.

I would say it depends if you want to break the feed to sleep association, when she wakes during the early hours then I often try and see if she will go back to sleep first, but that does then mean I'm awake longer.

The other thing we did was have her biggest/heaviest meal at lunch, and it's helped with her taking more of her bottle before bed so she sleeps a longer stretch.

I know nothing about what that age eats yet, and my baby is only 9 weeks, but I’ve heard from multiple parents and maybe even in one of my books that giving them some butter will help them sleep through the night. Grass fed and European if possible for the best vitamins and fat!
