When do you guys actually start transitioning to whole milk for your toddler? My baby turned 1 about 2 weeks ago. The lady at the wic office said she was already supposed to be on whole milk and this mothering mentor program I’m in told me I should talk about that with her pediatrician at her 1year appointment. I’m getting mixed answers, her appointment is mid march. Should I start weening or wait for the appointment.

Totally up to you! I started doing half whole milk and half toddler formula. But she still gets 3 meals a day and 2 snacks

My daughter turned 1 a week ago. But i am still exclusively breastfeeding and she also gets three meals a day and snacks i am trying to wean her off from breastfeeding but i said it’s up to you ! Do half whole milk and the other half whatever milk your baby is taking and then gradually start increasing the whole milk

We’re still doing part formula part whole milk each bottle until we finish the can! Lots of people don’t start transitioning until the 12 month mark, you’re not behind! I would definitely go ahead and start whole milk before your appointment though!

I starting doing half formula and half milk at 11 months old and by her birthday she was on whole milk only

There’s no rush. Breastfeeding is recommended at least until 2yo. Formula can be transitioned to whole milk, just make sure your baby eats a variety of food! You can also just wait until your pediatrician apt since there’s really no rush.

i’ve been ebf my 1 yo, we’re taking it very slow. still nursing her as much as she asks for, just introducing whole milk with meals as of right now. i plan to wait until she seems like she’s more ready to wean to actually get her off (not asking for it as much)

Half formula half milk for a few days, then 1/3 formula the rest milk for a few days, then full milk. No formula after 1 year. Not hard just takes some time for baby belly to get used to it!

“Suppose to be” is the wrong phrase. Technically they don’t NEED formula or breast milk anymore. But a lot of women do formula and breast milk for longer than that. It’s still good for them past a year. Anyways we are starting to transition to whole milk but my little boy still nurses when he wakes up and before bed and nap. But we are altering to offer him while milk. He’s not a fan lol

My ped wanted us to wait until his 1 year apt which was about a week after. We cut formula cold turkey and switched to milk. Then about 3 weeks of reg milk with bottles we cut bottles cold turkey to milk with straw cups. Their first birthday isn't a hard deadline. It's okay if you haven't switched to milk & want to wait until you go for her apt.

My baby just turned 3 weeks and although I was doing so well at the start, I feel like I’m being worn down now. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my life being constant 2 hour increments of feeding, burping, changing and trying to soothe a fussy baby, then grabbing whatever scraps of sleep I can when he goes down is so exhausting. One of my boobs has now started hurting (not the nipple, the boob itself) and I’m so stressed at night trying to get through without my partner waking as he has work the next day. I’m not sure what I’m asking for, I suppose I’m just venting to feel less alone. I’m so grateful to have my baby, but this is so hard and I’m scared.

Hi everyone
Can I please ask for stroller reviews from anyone who loves their strollers especially if you push it on cobblestones or rough terrain.
I have a mama’s and papas Flip TX3 which I absolutely hate! Everytime I use it I get back pain from steering it. It’s also super bumpy and makes me worry about baby but she seems not to mind. Baby is 4 months and we have only used it 5 times. If you have a Flip TX3 , does it get better when baby is older and can sit up?
I chose it because of the lie flat option as I didn’t get a bassinet and also because its foldable and we live on the first floor.
I really need something which is those two things but with great suspension.
Thank you
