Crazy 14 month baby boy!! đŸ©”

Hi all! Looking for a bit of solidarity really! My little boy turns 14 months in a few days and he’s a complete handful! He will not sit still ever, constantly moving and screaming his head off, and I mean high pitched, back arched, screams when he doesn’t get his own way. He now won’t sit in his high chair, won’t let me put him down and I can’t relax him at all so bedtime is a nightmare. Anyone have a very very active baby and any tips for keeping sane haha!

My little boy is almost 18 months and is starting to finally calm down! He has always been very active, very eager to move, very fussy as a little baby and very stubborn as he grew 😂 I struggled to put him down enough to shower or eat for ages and he climbs everything honestly, solidarity for days

5am wake ups

My 2 year old keeps waking up at 5am and is cranky and tired enough that she wants to go back to sleep but needs lots of cuddles. But because by this point sleep pressure is low she’s takes over an hour to resettle and fall back to sleep. By this point my alarm is going off 6:15am for work đŸ˜–đŸ˜©
She used to wake up nicely around 7am and we’d all be a lot calmer and have breakfast together but now I’m either letting her sleep in a bit so she’s not over tired and there’s always a big rush to get out the door.

Any tips?

She goes to bed at 8-8:30pm naps around 1pm for 1h-1h:30m

Sleeping tips for newborns?

Hi moms!
How are your babies sleeping, especially those under 3 months?

My almost 8-week-old baby sleeps for hours in my arms, on my chest, or in the carrier, even while I’m moving around doing chores. But the moment I transfer him to his bassinet, he starts grunting, wiggling, and wakes up and starts crying.

I can spend up to 2 hours trying to get him to nap in his bassinet, and he still doesn’t fall asleep. By then, his next feeding is already coming up, and he hasn’t napped at all! đŸ˜©

At night, he sleeps much more peacefully when we bed-share. I’ve also noticed that he’s calm and quiet on my chest but much noisier and more restless in his bassinet.

I’d love to hear your real-life experiences!

What actually helped your baby sleep in their bassinet? Do you use a special swaddle, a particular type of bassinet, or any tricks to make the transfer easier?

Baby Sling Recommendations

I’m looking for recommendations on a baby sling instead of a carrier or wrap, I’ve got both which my baby loves especially when it comes to nap time but it’s a mission getting on and off and she is getting heavier. I just want something quick and easy and didn’t know these even existed! She will be 2 months so not much neck control yet but is 12lbs 14oz, so conscious it needs to be decent for proper support.

Any mums have a sling that they’ve used from this age by any chance that they’ve loved?

Crawling!

When should I get worried that my son is showing little interest in crawling? He’s 8 months old? He’s great and sitting and has just started spinning when he sits but will refuse to go on his tummy.

Colicy Newborn

I’m a first time mom and my newborn is about 4 weeks now and began being fussy and just about inconsolable around 2 weeks. Most days he doesn’t nap or sleep at all during the day and is crying just about all day. I can’t put him down without him crying & if i’m lucky on the days he does nap he’s down for about 2-3 hours. I was told newborns sleep most of the day and have “wake windows” but mine doesn’t at all. He’s fed, changed & burped but will cry from morning to night and I spend my days holding and rocking him. Any tips?
