Exhaustion is horrific - 10 weeks 😩

I’m 10 weeks pregnant with my third. The exhaustion is a whole other level.

I am really struggling to get through the day but obviously have no choice. I put my kids to bed and then just collapse in bed and pretty much don’t move until I go to sleep.

I’m going to bed early and still waking up exhausted! I feel absolutely horrific and just praying that my energy comes back once I reach the second trimester.

Is anyone else struggling with extreme fatigue? I’m actually close to ringing the midwife to see if this is normal!?

Have you had your blood tests yet? I was feeling the same - I had my booking appointment blood tests results back when I was about 10 weeks and found out I had low iron. That explained why I was feeling so shattered. I’m on iron tablets now and they’re making me feel a bit sicky but the exhaustion has reduced massively x

Removing pram bassinet

Has anyone moved their baby from the bassinet to the pram seat yet? I know it says 6 months but depending on head/ neck strength. Wondering how early this can be done. My LO has bad reflux and hates the bassinet so being able to move from the bassinet to the seat would probably help her a lot!

Words of encouragement

Guys I guess I just need some words of encouragement right now. I’m really going through it at the moment. I’m 39+3 and I feel like I’m in the first trimester again. I’m so over this honestly I just want this baby out 😭 I’m trying to remain positive and patient but it’s really getting to me. I’ve started vomiting again, I open my bowels every time I eat, I have insomnia (hence why I’m awake at this time ) every night, every time I walk I feel like she’s about to burst through my pelvis. I’m so tired 😭

Going out

Hi,

Might be a silly question but I'm a ftm and my baby is 4 weeks, me and my mum are going to a garden centre and want to take the baby, my question is, is that okay?

Did anyone else take their baby out at 4 weeks?

Dr checks ?

I’m seeing lots of people on here asking how their 6 week checks went & 8 week jabs etc, do they contact us or do we need to call to book this in?
Baby is 5 weeks + 2 days so 6 week check should be near and I haven’t heard anything.
What does the 6 week check include?

(With my drs you can’t book in advance you have to call 8:30am for a same day appointment)

C-section vs vaginal birth

I’m expecting my first baby in around 6 weeks, I’ve always planned on a natural birth, I’m low risk, my birth plan states no intervention unless medically necessary for most issues… but now I’m getting closer I’m considering a planned C-section because I’m seeing that there are risks involved both ways, but with a C section there isn’t potentially 48+ hours of excruciating pain, and there isn’t the risk of tearing… I know recovery isn’t easy, but 1 in 4 births end in emergency c section these days anyway and I’d rather it be planned than rushed… but then am I just being a chicken? I don’t know what to do.
