Hi all, I have a 4 year old daughter and a 10 month old daughter and nighttime has become really tricky. My 4yo used to go o sleep on her own but now doesn’t want to be alone in her room. Lots of my friends said they lay with their little ones and leave their room when they are asleep.
I don’t know how to do this with my baby too as sometimes she’s asleep at this time but others she’s not.
I also don’t want to get into this new routine of doing this.
Any advice please? From a very sleep deprived mama x
Ps my husband works long shifts and nights so often isn’t around to help!

Unfortunately I don’t have any advice, but I’m going to have a baby in three months with an 4yo. I’m worried about this (my husband also works weird shifts and won’t always be home to help at bedtime) so I’m hoping to see other people’s answers as well.

When my 4 year old started doing that, i introduced camping night ! On Saturdays, we would read together in bed and he sleep with us. Extend his bedtime by almost 30-45 mins and baby is in the crib. Follow schedule with baby and flexible with toddler on that day. It worked for us. Although some nights we still negotiate

My girl was also 4y when her baby brother came. For us bedtime was always non negotiable. We all sleep in our own rooms and get the best sleep, in our own beds. I just reinforced this rule, plus emphasizing that the baby and I will make lots of noise and wake her up, so its best to sleep in her room. I also moved my baby in his own room at 8m, and started the transition steps at 7m. I find that firm and consistent boundries work best for us and everyone is happy. I hope you find what works for you and get some good 😴 soon

Two different tracks here: the first is to put them both to sleep in the same room laying down with both or whoever needs it most. The second is to do bedtime with your 4yo then work on baby, sending your 4yo straight back to bed if they come out for any reason.
Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.
Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.
Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

When should I start getting my little one into a bed routine? He’s 2 months old and will go to bed with me.. normally I don’t go to bed until 10pm due to having other kids and cleaning up etc.. but is it a good idea to be getting him into his own routine and setting up a monitor in his cot or is it too early for him?

Does anyone know how long this sleep regression lasts? My son has gone from sleeping through to being up every hour for the last two weeks, I'm soooo tired!!🥲

I’m 23+3 as still sleeping on my back. I can’t for life of me stay on side. I did buy one of those huge U shape pillows but I don’t find it comfy then end up chucking it on floor in middle of night. I think it’s kinda fine until 3rd Tri. Just want to know if anyone else is really struggling to stay on there side and end up on back!

I’m genuinely at a loss. My 7 week old will not sleep on a night time. Everytime she falls asleep in my arms I go to put her down and she wakes up instantly is awake for hours afterwards
