Omg I’m 23weks pregnant and I’m struggling so much with staying off my back when I’m lying down. I know you aren’t supposed to be on your back because it holds risks for you and the baby. But when I fall asleep on my side I wake up on my back and when I’m relaxing I also find myself propped up on my back. And it’s like lowkey so comfortable. Please tell me I’m not alone😩😭😔

def not alone! I struggled with it so bad but my lil guy is happy and healthy so try not to beat yourself up too much ❤️

Firstly its not a concern until youre 28 weeks so dont worry right now. Also waking up on your back isnt a concern as long as youve gone to sleep on your side and if youre going back to sleep after waking up on your back go back to sleep on your side. When we fall asleep, we sleep most of the time in the position weve fallen asleep in so chances are after waking on your back you probably havent been on your back long enough to cause issues. Its only after 28 weeks there's concern because of the weight of baby laying on your organs but that pressure will wake your body up before it becomes a problem. Honestly dont stress about it too much

Pregnancy pillow is the way!

You will feel very sick when laying in your back if your baby is in a position for this to cause issues. If you don’t then you are likely okay!

Laying on your back is totally okay so long as youre not noticing any symptoms (heart racing, high BP, light headed, cramps, nausea, etc) but if it helps you put your mind at ease and if you can tolerate it try a more upright position, think like a recliner. You can prop pillows behind and around you or talk the hubby into some new furniture lol I actually for my nursery chair found a recliner on Amazon that has a vibrating massage mode and a heating mode, and i used it all the time in my second and third trimester 😂 It was 200 bucks so fairly on par with most nursery chairs I saw, but way more functional for what our needs were. It's not the highest quality chair in the world, i can definitely see it breaking in 2 or 3 years, but my thoughts are that its going to get peed, pooped, and thrown up on so who really cares
I’m going alittle crazy! My ebf 11 week old for the past 3 weeks will only poop every 6 days. Brought it up to the pediatrician and I’ve done everything they told us to do. Bicycle kicks, tummy rubs, rectal temp check, warm baths and even a suppository. He is very low on the percentile like 9% so I feel like he isn’t holding on to the milk and about day 4 he is so uncomfortable. We took him to the ER Saturday and they did a xray and just told us he had gas. Went to a follow-up peds appointment and they started him on liquid Pepcid due to possible silent reflux. He burps & farts during/ after feeds. We give mylicon or gripe water for the gas discomfort which helps sometimes. I have a feeling this isn’t normal especially when he used to poop everyday.
Pic so we don’t get lost

I’m really not interested at all 8 weeks post partum and my husband has been asking. I had a traumatic birth with forceps, an episiotomy and a small tear in vagina. We didn’t really have sex during pregnancy and that was fine as we were both a little weirded out by it!
I just wanted to check if others have felt the same!

Curious what everyone is planning to do with their placenta after birth. Has anyone tried encapsulation, or is anyone considering it?
I’ve been looking into the process and would love to hear real experiences, good or bad. Is it worth it?

I’m finding it really difficult and bed time is taking 1-2 hours. It is full of false starts and my bub seems wired despite clearly showing signs of being exhausted. I feel like I have no down time and it is mentally draining.
What time do you put your baby down for bed?
