If you follow the BCHUB Health Improvement Team on Facebook, they often post about free pregnancy yoga classes. I did them when I was pregnant and think it was around 5 of us in the class and was every week for around 6 weeks. Sian who ran it was super lovely, highly recommend! They do yoga with baby too, so I’ve booked onto them starting in June 🥰

If you also consider virtual options: There is a fantastic youtube channel called Pregnancy & Postpartum TV with tons of suitable classes including Yoga. Used this for both my pregnancies and postpartum journeys ☺️

They run some in Llangollen too. Have a look at Sian Davies wellbeing on Instagram for when she’s next running them 😊

If you're still looking, I've been going to an NHS one in Coed-y-bryn, it's been a 6 week course which has been fantastic! And it's running again starting in a couple of weeks, also ran by Sian! Sian.davies3@wales.nhs.uk
Hi, I had a c section 9 weeks ago. I was sterilized at the same time. I was discharged with a catheter because I couldn’t wee after the set time it was removed Two weeks later but I still have no sensation to go for a wee. Doctor referred me to the hospital to get checked over just wondering if anyone else suffered with this. And what the outcome was

Hi ladies, I had my c section 5 weeks ago. What's everyone's wound healing process been like? I've still got the occasional sharp pains and pulling sensations when I move certain ways. Is this normal?

Anyone want to share some cute or silly pics you've gotten of your July babies? I don't want to post my littles on other social media so posting here to share ☺️ this is a pic my wife got when she surprised the heck out of him, and I giggle every time I see it. Let's see some of yours!

Is anyone else seriously considering having an elective c-section in an otherwise uncomplicated pregnancy? Whenever I talk to friends/family or my OB, I’m always met with slight prejudice on the fact that I’m considering this. It seems like a universal understanding that vaginal births are always better. However, I’m really struggling to understand why. When I think about affects on the mother, I know that C-sections are major abdominal surgeries and recovery time is longer, however the recovery is only temporary. With a C-section you significantly decrease your risk in long-term pelvic floor dysfunction, and completely avoid the inevitability of tearing in any degree, stretching, and any long-term adverse side effects that come with that. In weighing if I’d rather have long term scar tissue in my abdomen or…elsewhere, the choice seems obvious. Secondly, there is no question that c-sections are safer for your baby. And for the mother, although going through major surgery, the procedure is completed in 60 minutes or less in a fixed amount of time in a highly controlled environment. No unknown hours of labor, and god forbid, if something did go wrong, you’re already in the environment to address anything. I’m frustrated that I consistently need to defend myself when the choice seems rather obvious. Am I missing something? Is anyone else experiencing the same push back or same thought process?
