How long after starting their little ones on solids did you introduce actual meals like pancakes/porridge/omelette etc?
Weaning is so much more complicated than I thought it would be! Or am I just overthinking it?!

As soon as they are showing signs of readiness. Can seat by themselves, are at least 6 months old, show interest in food… just be sure to introduce allergens one at a time in case they have a reaction. That way you know what it was.
So for pancakes make sure they have had eggs, milk, and wheat by themselves before mixing together in one meal

We did maybe 2 weeks of slow intro with steamed / individual veg and allergens as above then just went into meals - he was 6 months so BLW was fine and worked for us x

We started with egg, toast and avocado as I was out for brunch so she had some of mine. The next day we tried porridge and then when she was eating breakfast regularly she had porridge most days. I didn’t do allergens slowly or anything (maybe not the right thing!) and just went for it with anything and everything- try and have fun with weaning!
