Had a great experience there and i was induced and in labor for 26 hours. Don’t let them bathe your newborn though. The rooms were comfortable, my husband had a place to sleep. The anesthesiologist was great. Wish i could give birth there again

I did! I had a good experience. I was induced on Friday night and gave birth Monday morning.

I work there and also delivered there and had no issues I work with some of the delivering doctors and had a good experience - you will be fine - who’s your ob?

I had a decent experience. I think they rushed my labor and "accidentally" broke my water, which put my baby in distress since I already had low fluid. They also kept asking if I wanted an epidural even though I said no many times. Ended up with an emergency C that they didn't even tell me I was getting until they came to give me a spinal. But my OB also got pulled into an emergency so the hospital Dr delivered my baby.
Would I deliver there again? Maybe if I choose a hospital birth in the future because I'm more educated and confident now. I was young and it was my 1st.
Great postpartum care team though lol. Like seriously so great. It almost made up for the labor experience. And the lactation consultants are pretty good too. This was pre-Covid though. I'm sure it's changed since

They sent me home after I beg and advocate for myself and I had my baby at home 🤷🏽♀️

I had a great experience! Food was good, they give one complimentary meal a day for your husband, the chef himself brought us delicious cupcakes, rooms were comfortable, they took good care of me overall. No complaints.

Literally the best hospital I've ever been to didn't have one bad experience there and I had all three of my children and I'm about to have my fourth there I had my first there in 2020 then in 2022 and then last year in 2025 and I'm going to give birth again this year in 2026. I highly recommend it. I first got a recommendation from somebody I knew who's had their son delivered there and I went with it because I was initially going to go to Albert Einstein and even having contractions a minute apart and progressing they still told me to go home and so the next day I went to Katz and they were like "you're saying". They were very attentive because I didn't receive OB/GYN care through one of their providers. They were very thorough to you know gather information from me and one test right then in there to make sure everything is OK. I've never been rejected when going to them in labor and my experience has always been great. The food is great. The service is awesome.

I’ve been a doula there, I wouldn’t recommend especially for BIPOC people unless you know for sure it’s your personal OBGYN that will be assisting you or that you know how to advocate for yourself. It can be 50/50 with that hospital. I highly recommend My Sinai South Nassau, they have midwives and they are much more compassionate, will tell you your options and honestly are very pro mom-baby natural processes if you’re into that. They are worth the distance tbh. I have yet to find a better hospital than them and I support moms throughout the boroughs.
I also gave birth at Mount Sinai South Nassau for both my babies and i traveled from NJ to give birth there cause that’s how good they are. I was also with Garden OBGYN at the time.

I did 12 years ago! I loved the hospital and the doctors. I hope you have a good experience too.

People on Google are there because someone asked to leave a review or they are pissed and didn’t know who to talk to . You got this mom. Take it from a young first time mom . it’ll be okay. Just breathe trust ur body and speak up for yourself when you have questions want something or someone to help .
