My 3 year old hasn't been napping anymore for months. Since last week, she has had naps every day now. They are quite long, up to 4 hours. She'll end up waking up late and, most of the time, still tired. She'll go to sleep late but wake up at about 6 am. She's also been more irritated, and every little thing turns to a tantrum and moaning. It's also really difficult to take her out anywhere. She'll cry and scream that's she's not going, but once out, she's happy and likes being out. Has anyone been through similar? Is it just a phase?

I could have written this myself!

I would personally try no nap or capping it to a short nap. It sounds like her body is all over the place so regulating her sleep should help š¤š¼x
I donāt feel like Iām a good mum, I cannot stand my child clinging onto me/screaming I literally want to smack my head against a wall every time she makes that screeching noise I am seriously exhausted and I have no help whatsoever.

I am only 12 weeks but I fell like ive lost my patience with my 15 month old, all day long im just constantly telling her off for hitting the tv, climbing on the back of the sofa to get to the window, throwing things at the cat and laughing. Im not enjoying being with her and that sounds horrible š¢
Im not enjoying my pregnancy in the first place and feeling exhausted everyday aswel cause my daughter is sleeping in our bed every night as she cries the moment i get near her cot š¢
Im just feeling lost

I just found out some bad news yesterday. My babygirl of 14 years has cancer. They found three large masses inside her. I am so devastated. I know i have to put her down but she is still acting like herself. Jumping on and off the bed/counter, eating and drinking.
I just dont know what to do or when to do it. How do I know when its time? She doesn't seem to be in any pain or anything. Vet said that chemo would be hard on her since she's lost weight and is fragile and her age.
I guess I'm making this post for any and all advice on when to know its time to put her down..

My daughter is having the worst meltdowns recently. Iām talking to the point where people are starting to stop outside my house and looking in with concern. The anxiety and humiliation leaving the house sometimes is exhausting. Kicking and screaming at the top of her voice in public and having everyone in the street looking at me, is a different kind of embarrassment and guilt. Iāve had a few conversations recently with various people about seeing someone professional about mt daughterās behaviour. Sheās also started using noises and moans to gesture what she wants, coming from an incredibly smart 3 year old who has been speaking full sentences since she was two. We have regressed in verbal communication, and the meltdowns are getting so horrifically bad. She also tugs at her clothes when distressed or pulls on her fingers. There is absolutely ZERO reasoning with her when she is like this, itās just constant screaming. Iām a first time mum and just at a complete loss.

Hi everyone, Iām looking for a bit of advice/reassurance from anyone whoās experienced something similar.
My baby girl is 8 days old and Iām currently combination feeding, breastfeeding, expressed milk and formula. Iāve really been trying to establish breastfeeding over the last couple of days, but itās been a struggle since she was born.
She hasnāt had a poo for about a day and a half, and Iām wondering whether this could mean she isnāt getting enough milk directly from me. Iāve been giving expressed milk and formula this afternoon so I can keep an eye on exactly how much sheās taking.
She seems otherwise completely well ā her temperature is fine, sheās feeding every few hours, sleeping well between wake windows, isnāt showing any obvious discomfort and her tummy isnāt hard.
Iāve already spoken to the midwife about it a couple of days ago and Iāll be speaking to them again tomorrow morning, but Iād really appreciate hearing from anyone whoās experienced something similar, especially with it being overnight. ā¤ļø
