How many of you feel like you've aged rapidly since having kids?

I am feeling pretty bummed because lately I've been noticing just how much I've aged in the last few years since having my first kid. Even just in the last year and a half since having my second. My skin looks terrible, has more wrinkles, and somehow looks both dry and oily at the same time. My posture is horrible and my boobs are like a couple of massive fried eggs. I feel like I went from girlhood to bog witch just so fast. I know that it's my own fault for having kiddos so close together with no family around to support. I don't take care of myself like I should. But lawd HOW on earth am I supposed to find the energy? And what even is a pregnancy friendly skincare routine supposed to look like? I only ever needed to shower every other day and maybe wash my face once or twice a week to look good. Now something has changed and I look like hot garbage on a stick the next day after a good shower. Anybody else? Is this just motherhood in our 30's?

Ugh same! I feel like ive aged about a decade, not just in how I look but how my body moves in general. Sad times

Best thing for me has been Lust minerals firming peptide moisturiser, it does actually feel amazing and gets rid of some lines. All her range is clean and safe for preg. And the other thing is getting into postpartum programs with Barre Definition app. Much love, another mum in 30s

Same here! And I feel so lethargic everyday😅

I feel the same way. No matter how much effort I put into my appearance it doesn’t feel like it makes much difference. And most of the time I don’t have the time to put effort in. And don’t get me started on trying to lose the pregnancy weight. My daughter is 17 months and I still feel so gross about my body.

Same here, also I put weight on but I'm somehow trying to loose weight slowly or on some days not at all....what's worse is that I don't want to buy new clothes in the size I am at the moment so I keep rotating the same baggy clothes

I was just telling my oldest yesterday I didn’t have any grey hair until she was born 😭 my hair is always a mess, my clothes don’t fit, and I’m tired not to mention pregnancy absolutely wrecked all parts of my skeleton lol

I’m stiff since giving birth. But I feel like I gotta chase after this kid nonstop. So I actually feel younger lol. Running after him and climbing into play structures and stuff.

Crucial time to start a skincare regime as much as you can, serum and tinted spf50 every single day for sun protection and to look awake, a lil glow, minimise more wrinkles coming. A good night cream every night.
Lots of water, 5 a day in fruits and veggies, keep taking multis, add a hair skin nails and a collagen powder to that, try to take care of yourself ladies Xx

I’m starting to get grey’s 😢 and my fave has been soo oily and idk why. I’ve never had oily skin everrrrrr

My posture is terrible too. I see a chiropractor and hit the gym 3x a week with a special instructor

Yeah. It gets better then you have another kid lol. Just try to eat well and you’ll make it back. And remember that people who don’t have kids also often age like shit from early 30s to early 40s too.

Has anyone started to plan out their first birthday yet lol I know it’s a little bit early but I like to plan ahead. I already have a theme picked out.

😂😂I am thinking about Sesame Street and Toy story as a theme

How many of you had your c sections rescheduled?

So I'm choosing to have a c section this time around because I had an emergency c section after being induced last time. That was less than 2 years ago so I don't think it's a good idea to try again. I'm really nervous it's gonna be rescheduled bcs I have my sister taking time off work to help me out with the baby in the hospital since my husband will have to go home to be with our toddler at night. Also my husband starts his leave on that day so I don't want him to lose any more days. So I'm just wondering how common this is. I'm in the US in NJ
