My son is almost 2 years old and has never touched fruit no matter how many times we hve tried he just throws it. Strawberries. Apples bananas he just gags. We have been giving him these as like a snack , does this count as fruit will he still be getting fruit into him this way?

I think it counts maybe try making some home smoothies too it might be a texture thing

I wouldn’t be worried about not having fruits, fruits have so much sugar I would concentrate on berries instead, they’re a lot healthier

I make smoothies for mine. He’s 3 and doesn’t touch fruit. He loves his vegetables though

Smoothie suggestions sound like a good idea!
Sadly there were some not so positive findings about fruit pouches and all the goodness being lost during processing https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62j0l0gg4go?app-referrer=deep-link

Fruit has natural sugar but these have added sugar. There’s a panorama documentary about these pouches! Defo worth a watch.
Has you tried smoothies?
To get my son to eat fruit I have to put them in the silicone food sucker things

My 4 year old won’t touch vegetables no matter how much we try and hide them. He’s been like this since he was 2yrs old. We now give him a multi vitamin sachets every day Ella ola it has fruit and veg in as well as your vitamins they need. Since being on the vitamin sachets my son has been brave to try new different foods. It’s been a big help as was wasting food before. X

These smoothies have different chemical properties and the sugar goes into the blood stream much quicker, I’d consider them a treat but definitely don’t worry about not eating (enough) fruit. Continue to offer fruit and don’t pressure him to try it, just serve it and put a bowl on the table where he can put stuff he doesn’t want to actually eat :) it will get better over (a long) time

Those are fine, but make sure there isn't any added sugar.

Yes it counts!! It comes under the part of five a day. We have to do this with my 18 month old! As he is the same x

Does your son like Weetabix? The only way I can get my son to eat fruit is to mash it into Weetabix. We use mixed berries and small bananas
My husband and I been together for 5 years , married for 1 1/2. When we first got together I went with him to a quince ( his cousins ) that’s where I met everyone ( his whole family etc ) . I got a long with his cousins.. this one girl that I assumed was his cousin came up to me complementing me whatever. Ig his cousins seen that n told me that my husband has something with her years ago and I was in shock because I’m like umm how come he didn’t tell me?? I told him about it and he told me that yes they did things ( sexually) but it was never nothing outside of that. I had my questions and he answered. Fast forward to now! She comes around because her parents are close to my in laws . I keep it respectful but I don’t go beyond that. She came to our baby shower which whatever but wtf?? I feel like she keeps it respectful too but she throws things at me. Like current words she says are specifically for me.. whatever I let it go. Anyways yesterday people came over to the house because there was a soccer game on . Her parents came but not her. It’s night and my husband and I are outside with her parents and my in laws. We are just talking giggling.. mind you his dad is drunk n he’s so dumb when he’s drunk. He was talking about something and he told her parents “ everyone knows my son had something good with your daughter , it ended and now he’s with Angelica , which is good cus she’s a good person “ and I’m like huh?? Something good? So I’m just there but I am heated and confused. I look at my husband in a weird way n he just puts his head down and I go inside. He follows me.. but I just told him I needed space. Am I wrong? Am I over exaggerating. I know that they did something sexual YEARS ago. But I asked him if they ever dated , went out with eachother or if he liked her and he told me no that they barely talked and that he fucked her a couple times. That it was nothing outside of that. He told me when I first found out when I had my questions. So he lied to me. Because obviously it was something if his parents knew about it.. I’m upset because why didn’t he tell me? Why did he lie about it?? Why did his dad do that ? I feel dumb because she comes to all our parties and talks to him n everything. This morning he brought it up and told me that it shouldn’t bother me because it was years ago. I’m upset. So upset. To the point where I’m going to give him the same energy back. Someone help

Last night while playing and having some nakey time without a nappy on my little girl who’s just turned 2 said “I want my potty” so I told her to go get it. She bought her potty into her bed room, sat down and went poop. I was shocked because she’s only been playing with the potty up-to now, she’s never done a wee in it and if anything she usually would get nervous whilst sitting on it as I think she was worried she wasn’t aloud to do a wee or poop despite my encouragement.
It’s has been sat in my bathroom for weeks not being looked it never mind used, so for her to actively go fetch it as she wanted a poop AND use it correctly, I’m shocked! 🤯
I gave her loads of praise, big smiles but she looked worried she’d done a “stinky” on the potty and was upset. Yet she’s the one who wanted to do it??? Im confused what to do about it. Personally I don’t think she’s ready to start potty training but the kid just independently took herself off to use it so perhaps I’m wrong?
How would you play these next steps? Or would you do nothing as it might have been just a one off?

I am considering taking a break from potty training.
My son has chronic constipation and I think that needs to be fully resolved before we continue. We started training him 3 months ago and he's still having multiple accidents a day. It is causing a lot of stress. However, my worry is this will make things worse in the long run as he will get confused.
Just wondering if anyone else has taken a pause in potty training and why? Did it work out in the long run? Do you regret it or was it the right choice?

There was a serious safeguarding incident at my childs school last week involving a 5 year old being taken by an adult without the parents awareness or consent.
My child has a school trip coming up and I'm really anxious about it. I was anxious before but now I really don't want my child going!
Can anyone recommend a tracker/gps type thing? I have android

My husband apparently hurt his leg while at work. He has been limping around for a few days. Now he says he can’t hardly move it. I’m feeling pretty upset because I can’t tell if it truly is as bad as he says or he is just using it as an excuse. I have taken care of the kids, the meals, the cleaning, all of it while he said I could take it easy and relax. All day he has been sleeping and not really doing much of anything. I’m frustrated because when I am sick or in pain I still have to take care of the kids and cook/clean but it seems like he just gets to do nothing. Am I being a bad wife?

my husband was supposed to be watching the baby so i could sleep in the morning and he set the baby 7 weeks old on the couch while he went to the restroom, well baby wiggled off and fell face first ☹️ i woke up to the crying we both ran to see he was laying face down on the tile floor and we rushed to the hospital they did X rays and they said nothing is wrong internally he just has a bruise on his forehead and bruised nose. IM SO HEARTBROKEN. we’re home now and baby is acting normally but i just feel like the worst parents ever. did this happen to anyone else ever or are we really the worst?? and is it likely he could get a long term disability from this ? has it happened to anyone else? also yes i’m very angry at my husband, i never leave the baby unsupervised. if something worse was wrong with the baby i was seriously considering divorce while sitting in the hospital room!
