Placenta not working properly

I'm 34+2 and baby has gotten smaller since my last growth scan. There is blood flow going between the baby and the placenta but it seems the baby may be struggling slightly. I have a scan tomorrow to see if my c section should be booked in for 36 weeks.

Has anyone had a 36 week baby? X my first was 39+4 x

I haven’t but my sister in law had my niece at 36 weeks. She was small but no health issues at all & 4 years later is thriving ☺️

I have, 36+ 1, she was small but otherwise very healthy. She is almost 3, very strong and fiesty

My sister has placenta issues her first was born via c-section at 34 weeks at 3lb 3oz, she's currently pregnant with her second and it will likely be the same they will keep baby in for as long as possible but we expect she will arrive by 34 weeks again as she's 24 weeks and the placenta isn't working properly again. Her first is currently 3.5 years old and thriving, you would never even know she was a premmy.

I was born at 35 weeks and didn't need any help at all, baby will be small but well formed ❤️

My first was born at 36 weeks, he was very skinny as he hadn't had chance to put any brown fat on which starts at 36/37 weeks. 2.5 years old now and healthy 😊

General anaesthetic c-section

Does anybody have experience of a c-section under general anaesthetic? I have been told I can not have an epidural due to some health problems and have been given the option of being put to sleep, I unsure of my other options than this or birth with gas and air until I see the anaesthetists 🥲

Early scans?

Hey girls! I am roughly 6 weeks pregnant and found out because I was having very bad cramps. I had a scan last week which showed gestational sac and this week a yolk sac inside but still no heartbeat. I have been discharged from epu until routine 12 week scan. I have a previous diagnosis of endometriosis so the cramps could be caused by this but am I right in saying with the cramping and pain I should be seen once more to confirm a heartbeat?

16 weeks

Hi all,

I’m currently 16 weeks with my fourth pregnancy. I am getting a really unsettling feeling about this pregnancy. I cant shake this feeling like there is something wrong. Like I’m going to go to my scan in 4 weeks and they will tell me there is no heart beat. I guess it’s not helping that I can’t feel baby kick not even flutters. I definitely did at this stage in my last pregnancy.

Wanting a VBAC

Hiya ladies I’m currently 39 weeks and 4 days I have opted for a VBAC I had my first child last year in April
I was hopeful for a VBAC at the beginning of this second pregnancy as baby is not breech this time round however as I’m getting close to my due date as well as being in the early labour phase for the last 2 weeks and still stuck at 2cm I’m becoming worried as I’ve been told if I go to 41 weeks they may have to induce me but there are risks of scar rupture leading to an emergency c section anyway.

Today it’s really been sitting on my mind as I’ve been in and out of hospital recently with pains but no progress in dilation so it’s really making me out way my options for a VBAC, hence was wondering if anyone has any positive induction stories after having a c section xz

Boy name suggestions?

I have a name chosen if baby is a girl but no idea if it’s a boy! Big sister is called Isolde, any suggestions? It would need to be a similar vibe - traditional but unusual (the name Isolde has Celtic roots and is from the Arthurian legend Tristan and Isolde).

Acid

Anyone else having acid come up your throat you just have to let it out. It only seems to happen to me in the middle of the night recently
